Description & Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES: FLEXIBLE WORK WEEK

Tasks, duties, and responsibilities of the job All:

• Keep area clean and orderly..

• Ensure OSCAR boards are being utilized when assigned.

• Lead daily huddles

• Fill in as needed for call ins, vacation etc.

• Relieve for breaks

• Startups, shutdowns and changeovers for all positions on team

• Perform startup and shutdown inspections

• Tie out as needed • Access to Matrics, SAP, & LIS

• Resolve any missing or incorrect pallet tags in Matrics.

• Create and modify daily schedule & manage LIS and absenteeism (vacation, callins, STD & LTD)

• Complete weekly crewing

• Maintenance o Understand CBM

o Write work notifications

o Complete all assigned PM (Maintenance & sanitation)

• Sanitation o Understand sanitation, in processing and packaging areas.

o Perform sanitation inspections

o Ensure documentation completion

o Position may include quality checks, including but not limited to GMP, HACCP, and weights.

o Daily document review & verification.

o Quality Suites review

o Issue Deviations as needed

o Pull the code date sheet and understand what the code date should be running

• Safety o Identify, fix and train others to identify safety defects

o Manage and track BOS for team

o Access and file ORM report

o Perform Safety inspections

• Training o Able to train others on all jobs on team

o Utilize step up card & execute the training plan for all new employees to the team

o Ensure completion of all required compliance training each month

• Continuous Improvement

o Understand basic process capabilities o Create and understand RCA’s & FEMA’s

o Implement initiatives to reduce downtime, improve run time between failures, and eliminate defects.

• Understand the discipline policy and able to issue discipline

• Understand and know how to do a Gemba walk

• Become an expert in 5S for the area and able to perform 5S audit

• Comply with all company policies and general safety rules while performing duties.

• Perform other duties incidental to job as assigned by supervisor.

• Know, understand, and comply with Kraft Heinz Environmental Policy.

• Reduce Kraft Heinz Environmental footprint.

Standard Job Functions:

• Responsible for wearing proper PPE, complying with all safety training, policies and procedures, and reporting any unsafe safety conditions to a Supervisor/ Management

• Participate and collaborates in meetings.

• Training others and filling in for other positions as assigned.

• Participate in the QRMP audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions

• Oversee and lead the implementation of the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the plant accountability list.

Safety: • Fosters a safe working environment, immediately communicates and addresses safety concerns with the entire team, and ensures adherence to safety standards

• Monitors daily Behavioral Observations of Safety completion and conducts risk assessments with the team when necessary Team Leadership:

• Motivates the team to achieve targets

• Effectively communicate verbally and in written format; promote open communication within the team and to leadership; displays excellent interpersonal skills • Serves as a role model, following all GMP guidelines, company policies and procedures

• A self-starter – shows great initiative and proactive, offers solution-oriented feedback

• Cooperative nature; works well with others

• Effective and efficient multi-tasker

• Promotes team-based culture and line-centric decision making practices

• Assists leadership with employee development through recognition, performance reviews/feedback, coaching, training, and correction action Maintenance:

• Trains team members to identify defects, make minor adjustments to equipment, and to assist with startup/changeovers & shutdowns

• Works closely with the Maintenance Lead and PM Lead within the team to monitor all equipment

• maintenance, modifications, sanitation, inspection, lubrication, major adjustments, trouble-shooting, breakdown analysis, work orders, maintenance spending, and preventative maintenance Planning Control:

• Interprets and communicates the production plan

• Demonstrates effective time-management and organizational skills to execute a clear and concise plan

• Delegates certain responsibilities to encourage growth among the team

• Ensures proper material and equipment availability – orders spare and backup parts, etc.

• Monitors performance and progress

• Manages labor in such a way to maximize production efficiency and minimize cost

• Visual Performance Management:

• Conducts the daily review and update of KPIs to identify problems and opportunities for improvement

• Ensures Oscar Boards are effectively used and updated with the most current information; maintains traceable records of performance

• Understands all critical metrics displayed and ensures team members understand as well

• Emphasizes targets and assists the team to achieve them Drive 5S:

• Maintains immaculate 5S control using weekly audits

• Reinforces 5S principles and practices to all team members Focused Improvement:

• Works with the team to identify and rectify nonconformance issues through root cause analysis

• Attends the daily production review meeting
