About the Role:

The Reporting & Analytics Manager is responsible for IT projects and the day to day support of Analytics for the Australia- New Zealand and Japan (ANJ) Business Unit in Kraft Heinz. This role will drive business unit growth by acting as a business partner for analytics- advising on technology capabilities and providing technology solutions to both Leadership and functional team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis/Partnership:                     

  • Proactively act as a liaison with the user community in identifying end-to-end business processes and how analytics help tell the story and provide insights as a result.
  • Possess the ability to communicate recommendations back to the business effectively and efficiently.
  • Innovating and influencing how we leverage analytics in the organisation; identifying opportunities to transform the business through the application of analytics.
  • Must be able to engage in business focused conversations about analytics and any associated technology.  Ability to adjust the conversation based on audience- is important.
  • Customer focus- on every level and in any functional area- is vital!

You will be responsible for analytics in the ANJ business unit with the following requirements:

  • Small analytic project delivery including initiation- planning- scope- budget and change request management- client management and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining regular communications with active project teams and business stakeholders to ensure necessary and appropriate steps are taken to resolve issues and risks- perform appropriate testing and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong knowledge of- and experience with- the following reporting and ETL packages:  SSRS- SSAS and SSIS. 
  • Provide support for existing analytics solutions in the ANJ business- including data warehousing- data models- database design- data mining and OLAP technology.
  • Work together with both Zone and Global analytic groups to ensure alignment of analytic strategy with business priorities and maximise analytics value.
  • Ability to create business case narrative to support IT investments and align/influence key stakeholders to obtain buy-in and approval for said investments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect- organise- analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at queries- report writing and presenting findings.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

About You:

  • University Degree required- Business Analytics and Computer Science degrees highly suggested.
  • Excellent written and oral communications. 
  • Experience with the full project lifecycle.
  • 5+ years relevant commercial experience in analytics- preferably in a multinational industry
  • Consulting- advanced TSQL and SQL Server experience is highly prized- knowledge and experience with Tableau- Snowflake and SAP HANA would be advantageous.
  • Experience in managing multiple aspects of Analytics projects including planning- requirements gathering- development- testing and implementation.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders from different functions and different organisational levels
  • Experience in End User service delivery and user engagement an advantage
