Description & Requirements

Position Summary:          

This Accounting Analyst- Intercompany Core Accounting role reports to the Manager of Core Accounting and is responsible for ensuring the proper recognition of intercompany transactions for North America. Responsibilities include performing various monthly close procedures- investigating- and resolving intercompany imbalances- and executing intercompany transactions for non-product related services- intercompany loans- and other cash movements. This role calls for strong business partnership with Global Business Services (GBS)- Logistics and Supply Chain Finance- Treasury- Tax and various other global Accounting and Finance partners. This position also supports the accounting for the US Exports legal entity- which requires connecting with various stakeholders around the world. Looking for a candidate who can identify process improvement opportunities and work with the applicable teams to initiate change.


  • Lead month end closing processes for North American intercompany and Exports
  • Execute recurring recharge entries primarily pertaining to- but not limited to- supply chain finance and US exports
  • Review and approve routine intercompany transactions submitted by various accounting teams for royalties- management fees- commodity hedging- etc.
  • Record and reconcile monthly activity for intercompany loans (e.g. accrued interest- FX revaluations- etc.)
  • Work closely with Tax- Transfer Pricing- and Treasury teams to execute cash repatriation transactions and record legal entity restructuring initiatives
  • Analyze and resolve intercompany imbalances in a timely manner by partnering with the offshore intercompany team
  • Maintain balance sheet integrity within Exports business by driving forward best accounting processes
  • Serve as primary administrator of Blackline and SAP intercompany journal entry modules
  • Support colleagues with ad hoc intercompany and Exports accounting information- questions- and analysis
  • Complete accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline
  • Ensure adherence to intercompany accounting principles- SOX and GAAP
  • Conduct peer reviews for completeness and accuracy
  • Ad hoc projects as requested


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA is a plus
  • Minimum of two years of corporate and/or public accounting experience with global company/client
  • Strong SAP foundation
  • Knowledge of Blackline is a plus
  • Ability to effectively lead- manage- and prioritize multiple projects- while effectively operating in a fast-paced- complex- global organization
  • Excellent interpersonal- written and verbal communication- and conflict management skills
  • Outstanding analytical- teamwork- customer service- and leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations
