Description & Requirements

The Associate Brand Manager- Frozen Meals will work across the frozen meals portfolio with exposure to all of our established brands (Devour- Smart Ones- Benihana- Kraft Kids- Rice Gourmet- & BOCA) in addition to owning go forward strategy for big bet of expanding KMC Deluxe into the frozen set.

This position is best suited for someone who is analytically strong- has a bias for action- and has excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate for this role must be comfortable working both horizontally and vertically across an organization to keep multiple projects and priorities moving forward to achieve agreed upon deadlines and to drive the future of frozen meals at Kraft Heinz.

Key Components of the Role

  • Collaborate with the Sr. Brand manager to build out long-term brand strategy to “Deluxify” the frozen meals category by expanding KMC Deluxe- directly taking on the massive incumbent (Stouffers) to disrupt the set.

  • Own key business routines: Demand forecasting to guide production and financial planning- management of annual marketing budget- & collaboration with operations team to ensure best in class service to our customers.

  • Lead cross functional team across various commercial initiatives such as innovation- packaging updates- and promotion planning/analysis.

  • Partner with sales to own relationships with our grocery & growth customers.

  • Build and execute omni support plans in collaboration with shopper marketing team.

  • Own analysis of syndicated data sources to understand own & competitor business performance- bringing forth insights and action plans to drive key metrics (e.g. velocities- market share- etc).


  • Experience in marketing for an established or startup CPG company

  • Operates with a sense of urgency and comfort in ambiguity

  • Strong leadership and drive for results

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strategic capability and experience in marketing plan development; situation assessment- strategy- and tactical plan development

  • Experience in cross-functional team management

  • Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver on timelines

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
