Position Summary

Marketing is at the core of our world and at the heart of where we make our decisions. Marketers know the consumer. They ask questions. Find answers. They take the extra step to work towards a vision for future success- while driving revenue and profit. As an Associate Brand Manager- you will be at the center for some of the biggest decisions we make.

Associate Brand Managers are leaders in our business. You turn product ideas into iconic brands on the table. Your accountability will span across strategy- advertising- media- and agency management. You’ll drive cross-functional teams of colleagues from category marketing- sales- consumer insights and multiple agency partners to bring the brands innovation plan to life for consumers and drive overall category growth for retailers by focusing on bigger and bolder bets. You’ll build plans to deliver on annual and longer term financial goal and bring the brand plan to life for consumers through development and executions of marketing campaigns. This position is best suited for someone who is creative- has a bias for action- and excellent communication skills. The incumbent must be comfortable working both horizontally and vertically across an organization to keep multiple projects and priorities moving forward to achieve agreed upon deadlines.

Key Components of the Role

  • Drive the innovation pipeline and new product development strategy and commercialization for KHC in the growing Breakfast category
    • Support the creation and validation of a multi-year innovation strategy that is rooted in meaningful consumer pain points
    • Manage the commercialization of new innovation launches
    • Collaborate with full cross-functional to take innovation ideas from concepts to reality
    • Lead 360 agency team relationships and strategic projects across year
    • Aide in sell-in of innovation with customer teams to drive innovation success
    • Develop consumer programs and in-store partnerships with customer teams at launch
  • Create breakthrough marketing communications that will build brand awareness and equity- driving trial with consumers and long-term growth for the business
    • Lead campaign on business and manage cross-agency relationships- including Media- PR- Creative- and Native Partnerships- to see through the execution of campaign objectives
  • Perform in-depth analysis and reporting of multi-channel marketing- promotional campaigns and programs to optimize their performance
  • Leverage syndicated data sources to understand own and overall category performance- bringing forth insights and recommendations that drive business impact 
  • Bring forth a consumer-first mindset to day-to-day decisions and new ideas- ensuring the integrity of the brand remains protected while balancing financial and operational considerations


  • 3 to 5 years experience in marketing for an established or startup CPG company or experience supporting on the agency side (advertising- consulting- media)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Marketing passion with an enthusiasm for consumer marketing- culture- new product ideas and trends
  • Operates with a sense of urgency
  • Advanced leadership and drive for results
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Strategic capability and experience in marketing plan development; situation assessment- strategy and tactical plan development
  • Experience in cross-functional team management and relationship building to command respect and trust of others while driving projects forward
  • Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver in agreed upon timelines
  • Experience with marketing campaign development
