Description & Requirements

The Associate Customer Category Manager is responsible for providing key support to the Customer Business Lead (CBL) by assisting with Planning- Forecasting- A/R/Decuction- and Trade Management functions.

Location: St. Louis- Missouri Area

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Effectively penetrate the customer to build rapport at all levels and to fully understand the customer- their business- and the marketplace
  • Aggressively assist the CBL in pursuing their assigned customer in achievement of Base Business Objectives. (Revenue and Share Growth- Authorizations- Distribution- Optimal Shelving)
  • Regular category & business reviews with the customer category managers & key account management personnel to affect positive business growth.
  • Achieve CBT New Item Authorization and Distribution goals with their assigned customer.
  • Effectively analyze and help execute Kraft Heinz pricing strategies for all assigned categories for the customer.
  • Work with Retail Team to effectively manage retail execution of all assigned category objectives for the customer.
  • Responsible for maintaining files and business documentation as directed by Kraft Heinz Policy & the CBT to thoroughly document business transactions with the customer.

Qualifications:

Minimum

  • Bachelor degree in business- marketing- or other applicable field of study
  • 1-3 years of experience in an analytical support role
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Experience developing and delivering PowerPoint presentations
  • Skilled at problem solving and idea leadership
  • Strong drive for results
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Intermediate understanding of the retail environment
  • Superior interpersonal skills (written- verbal- presentation)

Preferred

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience prioritizing and executing in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail
  • Experience in partnering with business owners to understand requirements- develop project timelines and deliver data sets or analysis on time
