Base Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $104,200.00

Target Total Cash Range: $104,250.00 - $130,250.00

Description & Requirements

We are looking for an insights-driven- proactive- and motivated talent to join our team as an Associate Customer Sales Manager (Associate CSM)! The Associate Customer Sales Manager is an internal sales position that provides business insights and volume growing recommendations through category research to Customer Business Teams (CBT) for our Military business on the retail side. The Associate CSM ensures that customer- consumer- and internal information are used to build knowledge and insights that can be used to improve overall performance and results. 

Reporting to the Associate Director for our Military business- this position will identify & address new and existing business opportunities for our business teams. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Steer key insights and business recommendations on the key sales controllable of distribution and assortment- pricing- and promotion- partnering with the category management team to add value
  • Liaise & coordinate information-training activities cross-functionally- collaborating with Sales & Finance for routines
  • Provide customer-facing support on an ad-hoc basis as needed by the business
  • Partner with the Sales team to collaborate and prepare the strategy for external meetings
  • Ensure that the customer- consumer- and category insights are delivered successfully through weekly- month- quarterly- etc routines. Conducts annual category reviews and periodic assessments
  • Develop & build impactful customer-specific selling stories that reflect key category business-building initiatives. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an analytical setting- owning the utilizing of data for a sales team for a public CPG organization
  • Strong sales background with demonstrated knowledge of retail business processes and Category Management 
  • Clear skillsets within syndicated & household panel data- such as IRI and internal systems
  • Tested communication skills (written- verbal- presentation)- with strong ability to communicate with executive & cross-functional talent
  • Proven experience to autonomously plan- organize- and achieve priorities for cross-functional and internal/external teams
