The Analytics & Category Foresight Associate Director- Away From Home (AFH)- will be responsible for strong marketplace- consumer- operator- and business understanding to enable informed planning of KHC’s AFH businesses. The Associate Director is responsible for identifying- developing and integrating business insights to drive a growth mindset- with the consumer and AFH operators front and center. An expert in data analysis and application- the Associate Director will enable a consumer data-informed planning mentality across the AFH organization.
This position will have accountability for understanding the AFH marketplace and enabling foresight to what the future will look like and how it will impact KHC businesses. This role will draw from a variety of information sources and internal/external resources to develop insights that provide a competitive advantage to KHC. A self-starter- and creative problem solver- the Associate Director will proactively identify areas of influence and opportunity to enable the AFH business to recognize the growth ambition.
Strategic: Be a key strategic business partner to Marketing & Sales team and a thought leader. Demonstrate their understanding of the consumer- operator- data analysis methodologies/techniques- standard processes and experience to drive the business forward
Influential: Influence across the organization and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams
Impactful: Drive to "so-what’s" by making actionable recommendations routed in deep understanding of marketing- business- operators and consumers

Lead Consumption foresight to guide business planning- and own communication and integration of AFH category forecasts
Lead SupplyTrack Consumption reporting & analysis
Identify emerging AFH data capabilities- test and learn approaches- and guide KHC to the forefront of the industry in this space
Connect with retail counterparts to develop industry and consumer perspective and offer outstanding and differentiating insights to our external customers
Take a key leadership role in shaping 1Yr- 5Yr- and 10Yr Growth Strategy for AFH
Support Enterprise Transformation Agenda - support consumer insights best practices and center of excellence initiatives
10+ years experience in a strategic insights or consumer analytics role- preferably within CPG
Foodservice/Away from Home experience on the manufacturer side is required
Proficiency in Supply Track data analysis is required; working knowledge of CREST- Technomic and Datassential tools preferred
Proficient in various market research techniques- including both qualitative and quantitative methods and storytelling insights to business partners
Experience working with both primary and secondary data sources
Solid understanding of syndicated research tools (e.g. Nielsen- Circana- etc)
Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
High level of tolerance for working in ambiguity- leading change and inspiring change management
Masters Degree Preferred
Work Environment & Schedule
This is a Hybrid role with 3 days a week in the local office- with limited travel or visits to external locations; offices are open workspaces. Additionally- this role requires working a salaried- exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations
Physical demands include but not limited to
Willingness to drive and/or travel as needed (~20%)
Operate a computer and view screens for ~100% of work schedule
