Description & Requirements

This is a role for someone who craves a global challenge balanced by the desire to be accountable for delivering against the model in the largest business unit for Kraft Heinz.  It is both a strategic and a tactical position. 

This role owns IT activities related to Integrated Business Planning and Demand Planning processes globally for Kraft Heinz.  The role balances 2 parts:  Global Functional owner and NA Business Relationship Manager (BRM).  As the Global Functional owner- the role is responsible for governance and delivery of globally owned process and systems and partnering with our Global Center of Excellence (GCOE).  As the NA BRM- the role will closely partner with the business to deliver both a vision and associated capabilities for the NA business.  The role will engage with senior stakeholders in IT and the business to define priorities- build solution roadmaps and deliver projects against the plan.  Will own or partner in the delivery of multiple- complex projects or products to deliver primarily o9 technologies across multiple geographies- simultaneously. The role will be part of the Global IT Supply Chain team directly reporting to the VP - Head of IT Supply Chain.

This role includes direct management of individuals operating in a Product/DevSecOps methodology partnered with the business- o9- and external partners.  

The applicant needs be highly capable in all domains of the supply chain- but a deeper focus in IBP and Demand is appreciated.   The person must also be able to manage third party providers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own and/or partner in the end-to-end delivery of IBP and Demand Planning capabilities in both Project/Waterfall and Product/Agile methodologies leveraging the o9 tech stack.
  • Understand and work in a cloud-based Azure infrastructure to deliver these capabilities.
  • Establish the mid and long-term IT strategy within scope of responsibility with alignment to both the Business strategy and related functional IT organizations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the both NA and GCOE.
  • Manage the relationship with third party providers (including- but not limited to IBM- Infosys- EY- o9 and OM Partners) for day-to-day project activities and future strategic relationships.
  • Act as the key point of contact for escalations for the project and related activities.
  • Drive delivery performance management; review metrics and manage performance against agreed targets.
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence and innovation on a daily basis.
  • Own the budgets (>$15MM) and decisions including resourcing and investments.
  • Partner with IT Operations organization of the included scope to ensure they are executed with excellence.
  • Identifies the impact of the organization’s vision and strategy on the established IT strategy and ensures consistency across both for the roles main focus area.

Global Integrated Business Planning and Demand Planning Strategy and Deployment

  • Accountable for providing direction and leadership to the organization team to operationalize the strategy defined
  • Ensure alignment and connectivity across the all Zones/BUs- GCOE- and GBS.
  • Own and partner with stakeholders on decisions around resources and investments
  • Develop relationships with the NA Head of Planning and GCOE Global Head of Planning.

Delivery Project and Product Delivery

  • Own and or partner on the end-to-end delivery across all processes for the project- including implementing- leading and driving the delivery of day-to-day deliverables to stakeholders and customers
  • Manage the relationship with the service providers within the (such as IBM- Infosys- EY and o9 Solutions) for day-to-day operational issues
  • Oversee total organization budget and own decisions around resources and investments.

Performance Management

  • Drive performance management within all capability delivery; review metrics and manage performance against agreed targets using OKRs.
  • Work with the internal and external stakeholders to- agree and implement SLAs and KPIs
  • Govern and run appropriate ceremonies as part of Agile based delivery.

People/Team Leadership

  • Direct management of a wide team of IT employees from Sr Manager to Analyst in both project/program delivery and people/career development.
  • Engage with stakeholders both internally within IT and externally within KHC (the business)
  • Set objectives and targets that align with the wider KHC strategy.

Required

  • 12+ years of general management and program/service delivery experience in IT (multifunctional preferable)
  • 9+ years of experience in supply chain functional areas
  • 9+ years of people management and development
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision making
  • Experience leading large- complex projects across multiple geographies
  • Experience in leading Product based teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in change management - preferably in a mixed outsourced and insourced environment
  • Experience in managing large- virtual teams
  • Experience in working with 3rd party service providers of multiple types (functional- strategic- operations)
  • Deductive reasoning- analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in leading and motivating a team
  • Prior experience of enabling and driving change with a high degree of cultural awareness and sensitivity to enable and drive change in a multi-national environment
  • Proven stakeholder management capabilities
  • Proven track record of working successfully in a matrix environment- ideally in a leadership role
