This is a role for someone who craves a global challenge balanced by the desire to be accountable for delivering against the model in the largest business unit for Kraft Heinz. It is both a strategic and a tactical position. Those that do not want to get their hands dirty or build out a function against a blank slate without buying pre-packaged solutions should not apply.

This role owns IT areas of Supply Chain Planning and Supply Chain Control Tower. The SC Planning part encompasses the capabilities of Supply Planning- Deployment Planning- Material Requirements Planning- and Plant Scheduling globally. The Control Tower element of the role will engage and partner with Kraft Hein’s Digital Revolution organization to deliver future state transformation of an end-to-end Control Tower by owning the underlying platform

In addition- the role balances 2 parts: Global Functional owner and NA Business Relationship Manager (BRM). As the Global Functional owner- the role is responsible for oversight and delivery of globally owned systems. As the NA BRM- the role will closely partner with the NA business to deliver both vision and associated projects supporting the direct need of NA as well as ownership of NA specific applications with the scope of the role. The role will engage with senior partners in IT and the business to define priorities- build solution roadmaps and deliver projects against the plan. Will own or partner in the delivery of multiple- complex projects across multiple ERP’s and geographies- simultaneously. The role will be part of the Global IT Supply Chain Team directly reporting to the VP - Head of IT Supply Chain.

As the Supply Chain Control Tower owner- this person will own and manage the underlying technical platforms being built upon. Additionally- the person will lead defining and governing how the platform integrates and works within the broader KCH solutions set across SAP- OTM- OMP- o9- Snowflake- and a myriad of other platforms.

This role includes direct management of individuals responsible for delivering the agenda.

The applicant needs be highly capable in all domains of the Supply Chain- but a deeper focus in Supply Planning is appreciated. Experience in managing technical platforms also highly valued.

The person must also be able to manage third party providers.

High level job summary

  • Own and/or partner in the end-to-end delivery of Supply Chain Planning programs and projects across the KHC.
  • Own- manage- and govern underlying technical platforms underpinning the Control Tower.
  • Establish the mid and long-term IT strategy within scope of responsibility with alignment to both the Business strategy and related functional IT organizations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the both the NA and Global COE.
  • Manage the relationship with third party providers (including- not limited to IBM- Infosys- EY- and Microsoft ) for day-to-day project activities and future strategic relationships.
  • Act as the key point of contact for escalations for the project and related activities.
  • Drive delivery performance management; review metrics and manage performance against agreed targets.
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence and innovation on a daily basis.
  • Own the project budgets (>$15MM) and decisions including resourcing and investments.
  • Partner with IT Operations organization of the included scope to ensure they are executed with excellence.
  • Identifies the impact of the organization’s vision and strategy on the established IT strategy and ensures consistency across both for the role’s main focus area.



  • Bachelors Degree
  • 12+ years of general management and program/service delivery experience in IT (multifunctional preferable)
  • 9+ years of experience in supply chain functional areas
  • 9+ years of people management and development
  • 5+years of platform management in any platform
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision making
  • Experience leading large- complex projects across multiple geographies
  • Experience in change management - preferably in a mixed outsourced and insourced environment
  • Experience in managing large- virtual teams
  • Experience in working with 3rd party service providers of multiple types (functional- strategic- operations)
  • Deductive reasoning- analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in leading and motivating a team
  • Prior experience of enabling and driving change with a high degree of cultural awareness and sensitivity to enable and drive change in a multi-national environment
  • Proven stakeholder management capabilities
  • Proven track record of working successfully in a matrix environment- ideally in a leadership role
  • Customer focused individual
  • Experience in dealing with multicultural and multifunctional teams


  • Have worked with SAP and related applications in both the Supply Chain Planning space and related ERP components.
  • Experience leading or actively participating in continuous improvement projects from idea generation to implementation
  • FMCG experience
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Evidence of strong management and leadership abilities- particularly in building and leading a team
