Description & Requirements


The Associate Director- Manufacturing– Production Management is part of the greater KHMS (Kraft Heinz Manufacturing System) team responsible for standardizing- and ensuring implementation- alignment- and execution of KHMS objectives to deliver planned production safely- and without defects- while minimizing cost. The Associate Director- Mnfr – Production Management is also responsible for implementing Autonomous Maintenance programs across the organization building technical capabilities and developing autonomous teams responsible for safety- quality- maintenance- and overall line performance results.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Drive consistent application of KHMS standards to improve the identified 14 critical KPI’s that all factories will be measured against for year over year improvement.
  • Conduct health checks and audition of process to ensure facilities are adhering to identified and established KHMS standards.
  • Partner with the organization to adopt ownership model for the delivery of results from the factory floor through the Factory Manager.
  • Act as a key driver of change within the business- supporting management/multi-functional decisions
  • Act as change agent in challenging existing approaches and performance
  • Support the execution of CI routines/rituals- improving the business’s performance across Operations division
  • Strong leadership demonstration in areas of change management and accountability
  • Partner with PODs Lead- KHMS teams- and facilities to execute improvement projects throughout Operations
  • Focus on manufacturing performance that constantly strives to eliminate waste- improve conformance to plan- reduce conversion costs and to improve efficiency using continuous improvement methodologies and tools
  • Drive the execution of Autonomous Maintenance initiatives across the organization to upscale our operators and build technical capabilities to develop autonomous teams responsible for safety- quality- maintenance- and overall line performance results.
  • Lead teams to drive consistent rollout- development- and execution of Autonomous Maintenance at each factory to align on goals and expectations.


  • Continuous Improvement experience is required with the ability to articulate continuous improvement methodologies- technologies- and process design.
  • Prior food manufacturing experience required
  • Able to facilitate data-driven statistical approaches to problem solving
  • Able to provide mentoring and coaching to Continuous Improvement Leaders / Professionals
  • Must be willing to travel to facilities as needed. (~90%)
  • Lean and TPM background (Preferred)
