Description & Requirements

Position Summary

The Associate Finance Director- Procurement Finance will Lead Canada Procurement finance and its integration to the North America Zone (e.g.- transfer pricing- standard costs).  This will include leading the rituals and routines on $3 billion of Big-3 commodities procurement finance (Cheese- Meats- Coffee).  This position is key to drive behavior in Procurement to pursue strategic pricing and better negotiations.  This role will partner with R&D- Risk Management- and Operations functions to identify and resolve issues- find efficiencies & support cost saving projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Guide Procurement productivity projects within Big-3 procurement and Canada
  • Supports BU Presidents and BU CFOs to give visibility to volatility of the commodity platforms (FFM- Coffee- KHI)
  • Collaborate with Risk Management team on market trends and to simulate hedging strategies
  • Responsible for AOP setting on procurement cost and efficiency savings

Qualifications

  • BS in Finance- Accounting or Business Administration required- MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of related finance experience
  • Strong understanding of Procurement Finance on purchase price- inventory rollover
  • Strong business acumen- interpersonal- communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and drive change management
  • Exhibits strong analytical- written- and verbal communication skills as well as strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP and Tableau skills are preferred
