Description & Requirements

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced finance professional to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Associate FP&A Manager position lies within the International Zone IT Planning & Performance Management (PPM) team and can be based in our Amsterdam or London office.

You’ll be working in a hard-working team- alongside peers always trying to reach the next level and will report to the Senior Manager IT PPM. The delivery of IT performance management will be your primary responsibility and you will have an opportunity to identify improvement activities within the zone.

In brief- you will be responsible for:

  • Serving as an advisor to the International Zone Technology package owner on all matters related to financial planning and performance management
  • Managing International Zone IT Technology package opex reports- one-time projects and monthly reporting- and reviews with each of the BU's
  • Completing ad hoc analytics requests to drive business decisions- lead/support projects and improvement initiatives- developing and driving action plans to achieve financial results
  • Performing variance analysis against forecast models for monthly- year-to-date and full year actuals and invoice validation for IT operating expenses
  • Tracking and reporting savings initiatives – identify key cost/savings drivers- monitor progress and develop actions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Finance- Accounting- or Business Administration
  • Additional relevant certifications (such as ACCA- CIMA- CFA or equivalent) are an advantage
  • 4+ years of controlling experience with managing Opex (ZBB) budget- tracking and analysis of financials in support of an operating function (i.e. IT- Supply Chain- Facilities- etc.)
  • Working knowledge of accounting concepts and month-end close
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and SAP. Microsoft BI and Tableau software preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work and think independently- interpret and exercise professional and data-driven judgment- creatively problem solve and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Effective communication skills- ability to work with stakeholders' positivity and sensitivity in remote working areas such as overseas locations- cultural differences- and split time-zones
  • Excellent work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong ability to multi-task with excellent planning and organizational skills.
