About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for an Associate Sr Packaging Technologist to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The position sits within the International R&D Packaging team, based at our Int. R&D Centre in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level.

You’ll be reporting into the Packaging Manager and get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. You’re constantly looking for new and improved packaging solutions for the international market.

In brief, you will be responsible for;

  • Executing technically VE & Supply Chain projects through R&D governance and according to best practices.
  • Delivering key goals; perfect the fundamentals, ensure cost competitiveness, make sustainability a competitive edge and strengthen capabilities and competences in the International Zone Packaging team
  • Creating, developing, and implementing industrialized packaging solutions under specific projects, ensuring robust risk management and delivery of quality attributes
  • Proactively drive innovation and cost-out ideas to build the pipeline
  • Building strong cross functional relationships

Qualifications

Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included), or be an EU Citizen, in order to proceed for this position. Requirements:

  • A completed Packaging / Engineering / Science degree
  • 5+ years of experience within packaging development in a complex / matrix organization
  • Understanding of food technology and preservation
  • Business fluency in English (written & verbal)
