Description & Requirements

The Kraft Heinz Company is looking for Budgeting and Business Performance (BBP) Lead who will have the overall responsibility for financial planning of the total BU P&L- Operating Free Cash Flow and Zero Base Budgeting. This role provides insightful and value adding analysis and recommendations to the Country CFO and the Managing Director. As a key member of the finance function- the BBP lead drives a range of financial forecasting and budgeting processes and outputs for the French business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing insight to the leadership team and European Finance team on commercial performance- including analysis against Annual Operating Plan- Forecast and Prior Year
  • Producing the Monthly Performance Review Pack and Monthly Forecast Sign Off Pack for the Leadership team
  • Coordinate & own the overall business processes- and provide the management data and information that is used throughout the business
  • Showing strong ownership of the results and clear understanding of the drivers and focus needed
  • Owning cost reconciliation overall (variable costs- fixed costs) and driving efficiencies through Zero Based Budgeting
  • Ensuring that every specific part of the business has visibility on their target and results and that all reports across the business are standardized
  • Be the guardian of the templates- measures and definitions for the Business Unit
  • Ensuring consistency- reliability & development of Financial IT systems and databases
  • Providing ad hoc queries from the Managing Director- Country Finance Director- European finance and WHQ finance teams
  • Professional and disciplinary management of one Analyst

Experience & Professional Attributes:

Please note that a EU working permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) is required to further proceed for this position!

  • Must be educated to degree level at a minimum with 3 to 5 years of experience in finance
  • Strong analytical- observation and numerical skills including problem solving – being able to distil complex financial concepts / data to non – finance audience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Flexible / Attracted to work in an evolving and continuous improving environment
  • Bigger picture and strategic thinking – ability to look beyond the number
  • Advanced financial modelling skills (Excel)
