About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for a passionate Brand Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Brand Manager- Heinz Core Sauces position lies within the Northern Europe business unit based in the Shard- London and is part of the Sauces team. You will be reporting into a senior marketer with strong experience- working in an impactful team- alongside peers always trying to reach the next level and you will have a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders as well as external agencies.

In this role- together with your team- you will be looking after the largest and most loved UK Heinz brand and you will have the opportunity to be responsible for one of the top 3 growing categories within sauces portfolio. You will be bringing to life the brand strategy- plan and implement communication plans- including disrupting PR activations and partnering with the Sauces international team to successfully land new products to market.

In brief- you will be responsible for:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the consumer and using consumer insights to drive brand equity through the delivery of communication and innovation projects
  • Collaborating with Category Development- Sales- Finance- Consumer Insights as well as Marketing International team drive the business towards the set growth targets
  • Creating breakthrough communications that will build brand equity and drive long-term growth for the business
  • Project management of innovation and renovation projects in line with the long term strategy- in strong collaboration with the cross-category team for best on-time in class execution
  • Leading the media plan execution for your category- in strong collaboration with the rest of the sauces team- partnering with our agencies to drive outstanding work.
  • Working in partnership with the sauces team to ensure strong in market execution and commercial rigour to deliver results

Qualifications

Hard Skills

  • Experience with consumer understanding: ability to understand a consumer insight- spot consumer needs- trends and market dynamics and generate answers for them.
  • Experience in communication plans: ability to project manage a comms plan from creative to media execution and to handle creative- PR and media agencies.
  • Experience in Innovation projects from end-to-end (from idea to launch)- with understanding of processes involving multiple functions and external partners.
  • Commercial and P&L understanding
  • Bachelor’s degree- master’s degree preferred
  • Fluency in English is critical
