Description & Requirements

We have an excellent opportunity for driven Category Development Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz!

The position is part of the Italy Category team- where you will be working alongside peers always trying to reach the next level.

You’ll be reporting into the Category Lead Infant Food Italy and your mission will be taking care of the 6P´s Strategy of the Category – Proposition- Product- Pack- Price- Promotion and Place.

In brief- your responsibilities will be:

  • Definition of the category vision- strategy and story for the specialized channel- and to communicate it effectively both to internal teams and clients
  • Definition of the commercial plan for the infant food category in the specialized channel: setting the commercial actions (distribution plan- promotions- events- innovation plan- in store visibility- category management projects) to achieve company targets- also in coordination with marketing and finance
  • Represent the main point of reference for specialized channel sales force to ensure category plan implementation
  • Identification of extra business opportunities in order to increase efficiency and profitability;
  • Keep under control channel and key customers' performance with a monthly performance review process- and define corrective actions to address key issues
  • Deploy your commercial skills to address various P&L levers;
  • Ensure coherence with long-term development strategies for product categories;
  • Seeks input from various functional areas across company including manufacturing- sales- marketing- product development and finance.

Qualifications

Hard Skills

  • College Degree or Master’s Degree- preferably from a Business School
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in a FMCG or in specialized channel management
  • Ownership attitude- push to learn through new challenges and capability to drive results and lead independently of age/role
  • Proficient in Italian and English
  • Excellent Excel and Presentation (PowerPoint) Skills
