Category Finance Manager

About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Category Finance Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Category Finance Manager lies within the Revenue Growth Management and Category Finance team and is positioned in our Amsterdam office. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into the Head of Category Finance and Revenue Growth Management. The delivery of sound and sustainable business decisions to define the future of your categories and its financial implications will be your primary responsibility.


In brief, you will be responsible for;

  • Providing financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action
  • Analyzing day-to-day financial activities, business cases (all innovations need to be reviewed), strengthening plans and subsequently provide advice and guidance on future financial plans
  • Managing budgets & rolling forecast providing accurate and on-time information
  • Analyzing costs, pricing, contracts and projects’ actual performance compared to business plans
  • Developing an integrated business plan and ensure insights are delivered to the business leaders
  • Overseeing proper prioritization of business requests and ensure continuous process efficiency improvement
  • Analyzing promo efficiency for category and account and optimize promo plan based on these promo learnings 
  • Guiding Category and Sales team in executing the perfect promo plan and track on errors
  • Guiding Marketing in building business cases for new product developments by generating robust volume forecasts and translating these into financial impact on the business

 Qualifications


Hard Skills
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position
 

  • At least a completed bachelor degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics)
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience, combining financial analysis and commercial business.
  • Advanced knowledge and application of Microsoft Office and MS Excel.
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Problem solving ability, taking on entrepreneurial challenges and simplifying the complex 
  • Interested in business and stakeholders, talks their language.
  • Able to work independently and be a good team player.
