Description & Requirements

About the role:

Based In Melbourne- The Commercial Finance Analyst will provide commercial support to the Head of Finance for our Retail- Foodservice and Exports team across different areas such as Finance analysis and month-end reporting- Financial Modelling- Financial Planning and Process Improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in completion of monthly financial forecast/ budgeting cycle- including engaging with the key stakeholders to ensure the Sales Plan is accurately recorded in the financial system
  • Assisting in Month-end analysis and reporting- ensuring reliability and completeness of data in the GL and data warehouse
  • Assisting in other ad hoc requests/ analysis/ financial calculations
  • Making recommendations and driving through for results that improve the business processes and free up resources
  • Performing assigned tasks in accordance with all Kraft Heinz Food Safety- Environmental- Health and Safety- and Ethical and Human Resources policies- programs and goals
  • Upholding the Kraft Heinz values and to work in a way that contributes to the company’s vision

About you:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance- Business- Commerce- and/or Accounting
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite: Excel (macros- indexmatch- vlookup etc) and Access
  • Efficient in working with large datasets: identify issues- fix- transform- upload- present
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Can-do attitude and eagerness to make a positive impact
  • “Swiss clock” mindset and passion to accuracy and high working standards
  • Initiative individual with optimistic approach to the problems
  • Excellent communication and business partnering skills
