About the role

Kraft Heinz Australia and New Zealand are undergoing a BIG transformation – we’ve completely changed how we structure our portfolios to ensure long term- profitable growth. As a result- we have built a brand new Commercial Strategy team to bring together experts from Category- Customer Management- Finance and Revenue Management to collaborate cross-functionally together. This role will provide critical finance support to the ANZ Director of Commercial Strategy and participate in key finance and commercial planning activities.

You will be responsible to:

  • Ownership of the monthly- quarterly- and annual business cycle (forecast and performance reviews) for total ANZ Commercial:
    • Oversee team to maintain & further develop KHC financial templates & decks that provides reliable information to the management team.
    • Present monthly and quarterly business reviews to the CEO & Director Commercial Strategy along with variance explanations.
    • Lead- develop and/or improve existing processes relating to KHC business cycle/financial reporting
  • Lead/Manage business unit P&L (Australia & New Zealand Retail):
    • Develop metrics to track team-specific and company-wide performance. Identify opportunities- provide recommendations- and collaborate across all levels.
    • Continuously challenge status quo and drive continuous improvement across all functions
    • Lead ZBB for Commercial Strategy
  • Lead other ad hoc requests/analysis/projects related but not limited to: Business Profitability; Long-range Forecast- Strategic Plan

To be successful in this role you must:

• Have a Bachelor degree in Accounting- Business or Economics

4+ years’ experience that compliment financial training

• Drive and co-ordinate the total business forecasting and budgeting cycle.

• Review- analyse and challenge key budget/forecast assumptions and outcomes.

• Ensure completion of the business forecast and budget within the required timelines ensuring robust assumptions are used.

• Work with Marketing/Customer Managers throughout the budget and forecasting process and participate in monthly demand review meetings.
