Description & Requirements

As The Czech & Slovakia Country Manager Kraft Heinz- you will report into the Commercial Head of our Business Unit Distribution & Exports (D&E) based in Amsterdam- NL.
D&E Business Unit is responsible for Kraft Heinz business in 25 countries in Central East Europe- Israel- and Exports. We do business via distributors- except in Czech Republic and Slovakia where we have opened a branch and local operations early 2022. You will be responsible of delivering our ambitious plan for the Czech and Slovakia business by overseeing the expansion of the Kraft Heinz portfolio into the Czech and Slovakia market. 
As an experienced profile- you will lead a team of 4 people (2 directs reports & 2 dotted lines) and create the connection with the overall D&E team as well as bring the Kraft Heinz Company Culture to life.
The Czech office is in Praha.

In brief- you will be responsible for

  • KHC performance: owner of P&L for Czech & Slovakia – responsible for delivering annual sales target while protecting profitability with a focus on driving growth- drive market share growth in all categories.
  • Market & product knowledge: good knowledge of local market- good understanding of FMCG landscape and key customers in region to identify growth opportunities
  • Commercial relationships: responsible for expanding the Kraft Heinz portfolio of retail customers in region and nurturing existing / new relationships once built  
  • Managing internal stakeholders: report into Amsterdam-based Distributor & Export team and manage regular touch points with team situated there. Once hired- support in onboarding of new team members; management of two key account managers and oversee demand planner and commercial finance FTEs on the ground in Praha.
  • Annual Operating Plan development: oversee key account managers when building annual agreements with customers covering pricing- new product and innovation listings- campaign developments and ensure implementation
  • KHC Culture: Support in onboarding- developing- and engaging the local team.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration- management- or a related field (preferably a master’s degree)
  • At least 7 years of Sales FMCG experience in the Czech market especially as a Senior Key Account Manager
  • Results driven and ability to define facts-based business selling story
  • Ability to build long term partnership with customers and do what’s the best for the company and the retailers
  • Fluent in Czech and English
