Description & Requirements

eCommerce has become an established component of the total omnichannel shopping experience- resulting in consumers’ path-to-purchase not being as linear as it once was. With both consumer preferences and retailer capabilities evolving at a growing speed- it is paramount to be agile and effective in the identification and harnessing of the efficient opportunities to meet the consumer in each step of their omnichannel purchase journey- regardless of where the purchase finally occurs.

The Director- Omni Growth Intelligence- leads an agile- cross-functional team across Business Analytics- Data Technology and Path to Purchase- in providing growth intelligence across the Omni Customer Growth organization. This team of 15 provides the Omnichannel organization with thought leadership in relation to the identification- evaluation- testing and scaling of impactful Omnichannel Path-to-Purchase opportunities- demonstrating internal and external partnerships- data & insights- industry trends- and flawless execution to do so.

This is a hybrid based position based from our Chicago HQ. Relocation would be provided for any US based candidate to Chicago.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • As part of the Growth leadership team- this leader will own creating impactful and balanced long-term strategies to drive growth for Kraft Heinz across omnichannel. They will also need to make the right short-term decisions to drive business results without sacrificing long term strategic capability development.
  • Responsible for leading teams across Omni verticals- in driving missions across Growth Intelligence- Channel Innovation and becoming an Indispensable Retailer Partner.
  • Partner effectively with leaders at all levels of the organization to drive capability innovation internally within Kraft Heinz and externally within retail partners as needed- to win and secure long-term growth.
  • Be a leader with vision in the continuous identification and evaluation of impactful Growth Intelligence opportunities- leading their team using internal/external partnerships and resources- data & insights- industry trends- and flawless execution to do so.
  • Own Omnichannel & eCommerce analytics innovation- ensuring analytics remain a driven advantage to Kraft Heinz- keeping up with the ever-evolving industry.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required- ideally in Business Administration- Marketing- or Computer Science
  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of eCommerce/Omnichannel leadership experience- preferably within CPG
  • Minimum of 3+ years marketing experience- preferably in eCommerce/omnichannel
  • Bias for action and innovation- with experience in championing breakthrough ideas and initiatives. Minimizes or removes barriers that get in the way of achieving results
  • Proven ability to drive a sophisticated agenda- including prioritizing- planning- and implementing innovative approaches with tangible and significant business results
  • Experience in leading complementary teams and articulating a compelling and inspiring vision; Self-motivated and genuinely curious- positive personality
  • Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to simultaneously prioritize to deliver insights in fast-paced- agile environment
  • Excellent verbal- written and presentation skills- with an ability to communicate effectively to cross-functional leaders and teams across the organization and across partner companies
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptive to internal processes and change- delays or unexpected events
