As part of our International zone structure which comprises more than 40 active markets outside US and Canada- we’re crafting The Kitchen International - a tailored in-house solution for marketing excellence. The mission of The Kitchen is to unlock creativity and personalization at scale and full funnel marketing conversion. We will support our business units (BUs) with an enterprise marketing tech stack.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to use your technical expertise to collaborate with marketing- ecommerce and technology colleagues to use data to drive insights and improve our analytics capabilities. There are a number of data sources which are currently untapped but could help us drive better- faster analysis to drive business decisions.

You will start by building simple models and reports before then moving on to more advance tools and capabilities by working with Marketing users to understand where Analytics could help them drive better decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • In this position you will lead the Analytics agenda for the growing International Marketing team. The position holder will need to establish a process to reconfirm management's intelligence and analytics needs. This includes gathering & analyzing business needs- developing strategy & plans and implementing projects to support desired outcomes. The right candidate will be an agent for change- willing to bring in new insights and re-think the way things are done.
  • The role requires the understanding of our business and the capability to present insights generated from analytics.
  • The role will ensure that new ideas (the innovation pipeline) to accelerate our growth and decision making abilities are explored and tested to ensure we can prioritize the best ideas. These will then be developed and implemented with our 3rd party providers to ensure that we are delivering at speed and at scale.
  • The platform we have built already has business critical capability and reporting which supports key business processes. This role will be responsible for operational excellence and coordination with Global IT to improve and enhance the platform.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the IT leads across the regions to make sure requirements (often tactical in nature) are being met as well as the functions requirements. There is a need to take an International approach but to tailor to local requirements where needed.
  • Working with the Global Analytics team and our Centre of Excellence to align the approach and reapply best practices.
  • Build a roadmap of where we are going with Marketing Analytics across International.
  • Work with capability owners to ensure Analytics is applied in their solution and not an afterthought. Be a driver for change in the organization and the way in which we use Analytics.
  • Act as second level escalation point for business users and team members for Analytics services.
  • Understanding the difference between reporting and analytics and how to progress from the former to the latter.

Desired Skills:

  • 2-5 years experience in software development- technical project management- digital delivery or technology consulting.
  • Excels in bridging the gaps between business and technology.
  • FMCG experience.
  • Understanding of data integration and API methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Proficiency in English where this is not a first language.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to complete projects & deliver results in an ambiguous- fast paced work environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to establish and articulate a vision- set goals- develop and implement strategies and track/measure results.
  • Demonstrable ability to build and empower a team to achieve well communicated expectations.
  • An ability to work effectively in a global-matrix organization is important..
  • Solid grasp of on-shore and off-shore application support management.

Technical knowledge desired:

  • Consumer Data Platform (CDP) – Microsoft / Google 
  • Data lake – Snowflake / Azure 
  • Marketing Analytics - Tableau / PowerBI
  • University degree with above-average academic performance in a mathematical-scientific field- information technology- or business administration
