Description & Requirements

Objective:

To establish, improve and maintain standardised best in class Cleaning, Sanitation and Hygiene systems, programs and wow in order to prevent product spoilage and/or product cross contamination which can oppose a risk to consumers and our brands in Latam.
To establish, improve and maintain compliance to the International Thermal Processes and Preservation standards across the manufacturing facilities in order to assure safe products and prevent product recalls.

Activities:

  • Thermal Process performance.

    Monitoring, trending, evaluating, and reporting the Thermal Processes performance, initiating and driving actions and improvements on KHC facilities, to provide support and drive compliance for thermal improvement programs and BP implementation at KHC facilities and assigned co-packers in order to prevent Recalls. Verifying the quality and effectiveness of control systems in place by auditing all associated production facilities (internal and external).

  • Thermal Process troubleshooting.

    Coordinating Thermal Process issues and troubleshooting, assuring corrective and preventive actions are initiated.

  • Thermal Process design.

    To contribute in the design and development of thermal, sanitation processes and key parameters, Best Practices (BP) and manuals to which compliance ensures the safety and legality of products across all categories and technologies in close interaction with R&D, Quality Assurance, Commercial and Supply Chain.

  • Thermal Process, Cleaning & Sanitation training.

    to develop and deliver trainings on Thermal Processes and C&S BP to all levels as required, to provide support

  • Validation process.

    To assist in the validation of new equipment and existing processes, products and packaging as capable to achieve the required level of microbiological reduction through treatment and sanitation control.

  • Cleaning & Sanitation performance.

    Monitoring, trending, evaluating, and reporting the C&S performance, initiating and driving actions and improvements on KHC facilities, to provide support and drive compliance for sanitation improvement programs and BP implementation at KHC facilities and assigned co-packers in order to prevent Recalls.

    Verifying the quality and effectiveness of control systems in place by auditing all associated production facilities (internal and external).

  • Cleaning & Sanitation troubleshooting.

    Coordinating Cleaning and Sanitation issues and troubleshooting, assuring corrective and preventive actions are initiated.

  • Cleaning & Sanitation design.

    To contribute in the design and development of sanitation processes and key parameters, Best Practices (BP) and manuals to which compliance ensures the safety and legality of products across all categories and technologies in close interaction with R&D and Quality Assurance.

    Support local Cleaning & Sanitation site leads of the KHC facilities to implement and maintain the local C&S programs to assure standardization and effective Cleaning & Sanitation processes in a site.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Engineering, Microbiology, others.
  • Minimum two years of experience in Food manufacturing role, preferably high acid or frozen/ chilled foods.
  • Experience in HACCP based food safety plans and accredited quality management systems (e.g., ISO, MSQA, MPI-NZ, BRC, SQF, WQA, etc.)
  • Sanitation qualification, accreditation is desired.
  • English advanced.
