Description & Requirements

This is a 12 month fixed term contract with the potential to extend.

About the Role

  • To support the FSQ department and the Site with the quality risk management programme (Q-RMP) requirements and implementation of action plans.
  • To contribute to effective investigation and outcomes of quality incidents, internal and external complaints.
  • To support the FSQ department and Site decisions and actions to reduce customer complaints and improve right first-time production.
  • To participate in the FSQ department internal audit schedule and validation schedule.
  • To assist with projects and decisions regarding product sampling and testing.
  • To represent the FSQ department when there are new product, process, or packaging developments.
  • To provide quality module training to other departments.
  • To assist the FSQ departments responsibilities for reporting and steering meetings.
  • To maintain safe work practices at all times, and to behave in accordance with the Company’s ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support of production in achieving food safety and quality goals
  • Support of the FSQ department and Site with Q-RMP requirements and action plans
  • Audits of departments, processes and practices completed as per the defined schedule, with effective corrective actions, and outstanding items followed up.
  • Support of critical control point (CCP) validation.
  • Support investigation of quality incidents, internal and external complaints
  • Provide quality support and training to operations staff.
  • Support new product, process or packaging developments
  • Contributing to reporting and steering meeting requirements

About You:

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts
  • Decision making ability on product food safety & quality
  • Experience with quality risk assessment
  • High level of computer literacy
  • High level of personal integrity and sense of right and wrong
  • Strong character
  • Technical experience in the food industry.
  • Proactive approach and growth mindset
