About the role

Support our Food Safety Quality (FSQ) Team and the broader site by ensuring food safety and quality goals are met. In this role you will be involved in making sure that only safe products are released to market and that any products which do not meet specification are effectively isolated.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the production team in achieving food safety and quality goals
  • Compliance monitoring, adherence monitoring and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring ingredients and finished goods comply with Watties Kraft Heinz food safety and quality specifications;
  • Developing and executing annual critical control point (CCP) plan;
  • Investigating and reducing quality incidents, internal and external complaints, ensuring root cause analysis;
  • Deliver regular reports and audits to the site leadership team, communicating progress and any issues.

About you

Your experience in the food safety environment, coupled with your outstanding people skills will ensure your success in this role. You will have:

  • Experience in a similar role;
  • High attention to detail and strong prioritization skills;
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate others;
  • Proficient computer and administrative skills;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
