Description & Requirements

We have an exciting opportunity available in Italy for a hardworking Finance Lead to make a difference at Kraft Heinz!

The position is part of the Italy Finance team- where you will be working alongside peers always trying to reach the next level.

You will be reporting into the Head of Trade Investment and Cash Continental Europe with a dotted-line report into the Italy CFO. Your primary responsibility will be to both control- raise the visibility of and optimize our commercial investments and our overall cash flows.

You will be controlling 70 million euro of Investments a year and a Working Capital balance of around 40 million euro. In this role you have 6 Trade Investment Analysts and 1 Trade Investment Manager reporting to you.

You will be working closely together with the Sales teams and the Sales Finance team and will be a key contact for our outsourced partner (GBS). Next to that you are constantly looking for process improvements and efficiencies within the Trade Investment Team.

In brief- you will be responsible and accountable for;

Accrual management

  • Make sure our Balance sheet accruals are sufficient and our P&L is showing the accurate costs
  • Provide insights in all our investments- e.g. potential over or under accruals.

Trade Investment invoice management

  • Customer invoices should be approved- validated & reconciled against the correct accruals.
  • Incorrect invoices should be highly visible and incorrect cash deductions should be recovered

Pricing management

  • Make sure all customer agreements are reflected in our system and we invoice our customers with the correct prices.

Pricing dispute management

  • Increase our invoice accuracy by understanding root causes- adding controls and changing processes

Working capital management

  • Reduce our overdue invoices
  • Bring initiatives to lower our AR Balance
  • Responsible for having the correct bad debt provision for our AR balance

Key contact person GBS

  • Within Italy you are the key contact person for our financial administration (Disputes team- collection team- pricing team- Cash application team) with around 15 FTE
  • Provide ideas to improve the performance and efficiency of above teams.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should have at least a bachelor’s degree
  • Prior experience in a Finance role (3-5 year)
  • Prior experience in a people management role would be extremely advantageous.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills.
  • Expert ERP (e.g. SAP) user preferred but not essential.
  • Fluent in Italian- proficient in English.
