About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Finance Manager – Reporting and Control to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Finance Manager – Heinz Gida AS lies within the Kraft Heinz MEA Zone based in Istanbul Turkey. You’ll be working in a high performing team- alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. The delivery of Turkey’s Financial Reporting and Control will be your primary responsibility. You’re constantly looking for improvement activities within Turkey.  

In brief- you will be responsible for:

  • Managing day to day accounting- ensuring that all entries are booked and recorded on a timely basis in accordance with USGAPP and local statutory accounting requirements
  • Ensure completion of month end close process to group reporting deadlines including review and approval of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintenance of books and records under USGAAP and local regulations
  • Lead local reporting- VAT and tax compliance liaising with regulators- auditors and tax advisors
  • Implement process improvements and drive change by continually seeking to enhance and improve business processes and controls
  • Identify and recommend necessary changes in accounting systems to meet growing business needs
  • Liaise with Group internal audit on internal scope and tasks
  • Managing treasury function ensuring that Treasury Management and Banking functions operate in accordance with legislative- regulatory and organizational requirements
  • Completion of cash flow and forecasting including liaising with local and regional departments on FP&A activities
  • Partnering with commercial teams for monitoring trade fund spending and creating and monitoring full company P&L alongside with customer/channel profitability reports. Preparing and driving the commercial reviews with sales and leadership teams
  • Assisting in merger integration of finance function


Hard Skills

  • Education: Degree in Accounting/Finance – Masters’ degree- ACCA or CPA
  • Work Experience: 5-6 years’ relevant experience in financial & management accounting particularly FMCG
  • IFRS / US GAAP experience preferred
  • Prior experience of system migration- Hyperian and or SAP preferred
  • Managing people is essential and leadership skills is a must
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent oral communication skills- good written communication skill; interpersonal and follow up skills
  • Proficient in Turkish and English essential
