About the Position

Financial analyst

We have an excellent opportunity available within Manufacturing finance to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Financial Analyst position lies within the Utrecht factory. You’ll be reporting into Site Controller of Factory. The delivery of accurate and on-time reports for financial planning, analysis and control activities for the factory will be your primary responsibility.

We are looking for a self-starter, eager to learn with a hands-on mentality. Apart from the actual, forecast and budget routines your main goal is to improve factory performance and deliver support on all finance topics. You feel a high responsibility in driving results and deliver targets. To be successful in this position you need to be analytical, accurate and able to motivate others.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and delivering period-end closing in SAP and preparing review of actual results vs budget, forecast, prior year etc
  • Forecasting and budget activities and related reports and analyses aligned with factory  operational functions to manage accuracy
  • Ensure complete and timely management reports for performance measurements against operational KPIs and financial objectives
  • Analyzing past results, performing variance analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvements
  • Analyzing financial data and creating financial models for decision support
  • Consolidate the information for the open POs together with Accounts Payable team and coordinate required actions with site functions
  • Be the point of contact within the site considering materials and vendor set up, PO and vendor reconciliation
  • Take the initiative to drive improvements and efficiencies in working methods and reporting structures within the site and with central office
  • Provide decision support regarding cost prices and improving the quality/accuracy of cost prices in the system
  • Set up and maintain SAP master data impacting standard costing
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external accounting standards and regulations (including SOX)

Profile

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business economics or related master’s degree
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in financial analysis or business control, preferably in a factory environment
  • Knowledge of accounting is a plus
  • Experience in SAP Finance and Controlling modules is an advantage
  • Strong MS Office with advanced Excel skills
  • Professional English skills, speaking Dutch or willingness to learn is an advantage
