Description & Requirements

We have an exciting opportunity available for a hardworking Key Account Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz!

This position lies within the Italian Foodservice Sales team- where you’ll be working in a successful team- always trying to reach the next level.

You’ll be reporting into the Area Manager- taking ownership of growing share and sales in the Food Service wholesalers' channel- while constantly looking for improvement activities within the team.

In brief- you will be responsible for:

  • Being a great partner and grow sales to the assigned Wholesalers customer accounts in the North East area;
  • Prospect- explore opportunities and build commercial relationships with targeted new prospects (local head offices & negotiations)
  • Developing the Annual Operating Plan (annual agreements- pricing- new products & innovation listings- and campaign developments) and implement it for the assigned customer accounts.
  • Contribute to the growth strategy for the Foodservice channel


Hard Skills and Capabilities

  • University Degree
  • Significant experience with FMCG- in a Foodservice / On-trade / Horeca channel- dealing with wholesales customers.
  • Ownership attitude- push to learn through new challenges and capability to get results and lead independently of age/role
  • Entrepreneurial / hunting mentality- preferring customer contact over admin work
  • Track record of successfully bringing in new businesses/customers- getting energy from working with customers- and being proud of business wins!
  • Comfortable with basic analytics behind business cases / return on investment calculations to independently distinguish the right conclusions and actions from it (yes/no profitable- yes/no strategic match- yes/no priority- etc)
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills
  • Good knowledge of english language
