Description & Requirements

The Global Distribution and Export Lead will drive the logistics function towards the future, contributing to Kraft Heinz's environmental objectives and enabling the organization to adapt to evolving industry requirements.

What's on the Menu?

Coordinate and support the design of processes and systems within the transportation and warehouse scope at Kraft Heinz. Implement the global vision and future strategies for Kraft Heinz transportation and warehouse to ensure efficient and effective distribution operations, including ESG and other major Company Vision elements. Support and validate the deployment of standard processes and tools to streamline physical distribution operations. Take the lead in the Cost-to-Serve agenda with business units, identifying ways to optimize distribution network and modals to enhance service levels and reduce costs. Set the operating strategy and ambitions through strategic plans and the logistics operating program Log.os. Collaborate on the assembling of digital roadmap for the physical distribution pillar, including process and technology models, business case, and timeline. Co-build the supplier excellence program and playbooks to enhance supplier performance and ensure high-quality distribution services. Manage the annual target setting process for all Business Planning Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all zones under his/her responsibility and track ongoing performance to achieve operational goals. Support the Business Unit export customers’ specific strategies and effective action plans to drive service improvements and efficiency gain. Ensure Fairness of treatment and serve as escalation point for Export Business prioritization / availability issues or other non-agreement between BUs.

  • Extensive experience in warehousing, transportation, or related roles within a global organization.

  • Proven track record in designing and optimizing physical distribution processes and systems.

  • Strong understanding of process design, systems implementation, and standardization methodologies.

  • Proven ability to develop global strategies and drive their implementation.

  • Advanced knowledge of digital technologies and their application to enhance warehouse productivity, fleet tracking, utilization and flows optimization.

  • Experience in managing performance and handling critical issues in a global setting.

  • Strong political savvy to navigate complex organizational dynamics and establish effective relationships with internal partners and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to network and influence senior leaders across the organization through understanding and simplifying complicated concepts.

  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Experience of working in a complex multi country, language and time zone environment.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Ability to provide functional expertise and technical support to business units.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry best practices in Logistics Execution.

  • Functional Experience with significant responsibilities in FMCG industries will be an advantage
