As the Head of Maintenance Information System, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the maintenance processes within our organization. You’ll be responsible for managing the SAP Plant Maintenance module, ensuring efficient equipment management, preventive maintenance, and seamless operations. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our business by maintaining critical assets, minimizing downtime and ensuring proper MRO and maintenance cost control.

Key Ingredients:

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for SAP PM, aligning it with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define long-term objectives and KPIs related to maintenance efficiency and reliability.
  • Drive standardization and benchmarks internally and externally and stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in maintenance management.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing environment, ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing with SAP PM professionals in the different zones.
  • Define and implement MRO and Maintenance cost control strategies with a strong link to SAP PM.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, simplifications and automation
  • Standardization of the T-code reports and its extract formats.
  • Review of the KH Management system & SAP STD review loops routines.
  • Develop or standardize the reports that will support the Maintenance KPIs tracking.
  • Develop the Training materials to support the KH Management system implementation. • Develop SAP PM execution and usage policies.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in SAP Plant Maintenance implementation and management:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years designing and configuring PM modules.
  • Hands on experience and knowledge of SAP PM functionalities, including maintenance planning, work orders, and master data management.
  • S/4 HANA experience is a plus; SAP Certified candidate would be preferred.
  • Global implementation experience. • Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective.
  • Proven experience in implementation and execution of maintenance strategies in factories.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects.
  • Understanding of accounting business processes.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact effectively with others.
  • Must be results oriented and demonstrate a "can-do” attitude.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness are key to success in this role
