Description & Requirements

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking Electrical Maintenance Technician to work at our processing facility in Fort Myers, Fl.  Successful candidates must be willing to contribute improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment.  This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.  Currently hiring for multiple shift positions.  
 
The incumbent shall perform routine maintenance work, such as greasing and lubrication routines, line inspections, perform preventive maintenance procedures from a checklist, perform basic troubleshooting, make adjustments and replacement of parts on equipment.
The incumbent must have his own personal hand tools and be familiar with all basic tools of various trades, including some power tools.  Must be able to maintain records and make reports as required. The incumbent shall exercise good judgement in regard to quality, safety, and the security of the plant facilities, as well as maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment. Must have good interpersonal skills and good communication skills, both orally and written. As a maintenance employee, the incumbent will be required to work in all areas of the facility, indoors & outdoors, under adverse conditions.  The environment ranges from below 0-degree F to above 100-degree F, wet, humid, confined spaces and unique situations.  In addition, the incumbent must be able to lift 50 pounds, be agile for confined space work and be able to climb ladders.

Responsibilities & Duties:
•    Maintain equipment in assigned area of responsibility to maximize uptime
*    Work with production to ensure all quality standards are met

Qualifications:
•    Have a working knowledge of PLC's
*    Understand and apply NEC guidelines
*    Perform electrical installations, including conduit, panels and wiring
*    Have working knowledge of instrumentation
*    Perform electrical system troubleshooting
•    Perform minor welding 
*    Perform minor fabrication and machining
*    Perform basic electrical troubleshooting
*    Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and systems
•    Basic hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
