Description & Requirements

The Role

This role is for an enterprise architect who wants to get their hands dirty. Working in a team with the Domain EA- Associate EAs contribute to domain technology strategy- capability master planning and achieving lean architecture outcomes.

The Corporate domain includes Finance- HR- Legal- Corporate Affairs & Global Business Services. These are the “run the business of our business” functions. We cannot operate effectively without these organizations performing at their peak.

This is a diverse & challenging space- with a number of functional capabilities that must be digitally enabled so that we are fit-to-compete & fit-to-win. The “how” is on you. Working with the Domain EA & appropriate functional teams- you will:

IT Strategy & Master Planning

  • Establish desired 3-5yr Capability Maturity (C) & Lean Architecture (L) targets- assess the current state- identify gaps- and develop approaches to close those gaps.
  • Own the 2-5yr global master plan for your domain- accountable for investments in technical capability.

Enterprise Architecture Framework & Governance

  • Own technology standards & policies for your domain- ensuring these are kept current & available to solution engineers.
  • Own project Triage (Capable/Lean/Risk)- determining need for security/criticality assessment & ensuring template alignment of all projects within your domain.

Digital Transformation

  • Incubate & evangelise digital transformation opportunities; leverage design thinking to open up possibilities; lead & sponsor programs from early-phase idea through to their first successful deployment.
  • Ensure enterprise-ready architectures. You may be required to lead first-deployments of new strategic solutions.

External Focus

  • Own strategic relationships with capability partners. Influence their agenda to support Kraft Heinz growth objectives.
  • Build our external network- actively scouting- developing & communicating opportunities to improve enterprise architecture- creating competitive advantage for Kraft Heinz.

Work Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree minimum
  • 8+ years FMCG/CPG industry experience – including at least 3 in a relevant functional domain
  • A strong emphasis on technical solution design- implementation & management
  • Experience leading complex projects/programs across multiple geographies
  • Experience in working with 3rd party service providers of multiple types (functional- strategic- operations- BPO)
  • Proven multi-functional- multi-cultural & multi-geography stakeholder management capabilities
  • Proven track record of working successfully in a matrix environment


  • TOGAF (or equivalent) certification
  • Food & beverage industry experience
  • Experience applying design thinking
  • Strong analytical- data interpretation & root cause analysis skillset
  • Strong hands on technical skills
