We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Senior IT Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz in an exciting new role – Group Lead IT – Manufacturing International. The Group Lead IT – Manufacturing International sits within the IT International Supply Chain Group- based on EMEA function. You’ll be working in a high performing team- alongside peers always trying to reach the next level- reporting to Director IT Supply Chain International. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal and external senior stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be managing the entire support process and applications for manufacturing across the company- International (Europe- Latin America- Asia and Oceania).

This person will be responsible for oversight and delivery of programs and projects designed to drive business growth and continue KHC’s journey to be best in class at cost management and digital transformation.   This role includes indirect management of individuals working on Manufacturing IT strategic projects.

The applicant needs to be highly capable in all domains of manufacturing and able to manage third party providers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define and own the mid and long-term IT Digital Transformation within scope of responsibility and drive alignment with both the Business strategy and related functional IT organizations.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of Manufacturing Digital Transformation IT programs and projects across the KHC International Zone.   Act as the escalation contact for all related activities.
  • Partner with IT Operations organization on projects impacting the manufacturing locations- to assure they are executed with excellence.
  • Own the relationship with third party providers in the digital manufacturing space (including- not limited to IBM- Infosys- EY) for day-to-day project escalation and future strategic relationships.
  • Drive delivery performance management; review metrics and manage performance against agreed targets.
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence and innovation every day.
  • Own digital manufacturing IT project budgets and decisions including resourcing and investments- including establishing AOP budgets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Heads of Supply International and BUs- Head of Zone Technical Execution International (ZTE)- Global Centre of Excellence Head of Manufacturing (GCOE)- International BU IT Leadership- and Global IT Manufacturing Leadership

Qualifications

IT International Digital Manufacturing Strategy and Deployment (40%)

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Working with IT Architecture- IT Strategy and International Manufacturing to define the multi-year Digital Transformation plan.
  • Accountable for providing direction and leadership to plan and deliver the annual roadmap
  • Ensure alignment and connectivity across the International BUs and GCOE.
  • Own and partner with stakeholders on decisions around resources and investments
  • Create a working environment that drives operational excellence- innovation and continuous improvement and fosters a “customer first” focus
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Heads of Supply International- Head of Zone Technical Execution International (ZTE)- Global Centre of Excellence Head of Manufacturing (GCOE)- International BU IT Leadership- and Global IT Manufacturing Leadership

Program Management (30%)

  • Assure excellence in project / program preparation for all relevant / assigned IT projects- including identifying the demand and all stages in approval- Capital Appropriation Request preparation and approval- vendor selection- Statement of Work definition and approval.  Act as the escalation contact for all related activities
  • Partner with the business on operation-led Digital Manufacturing initiatives- to assure IT considerations are included as appropriate – strategic alignment- costs- timing and resourcing.
  • Own and/or partner on the end-to-end delivery for relevant / assigned projects- including implementing- leading and driving the delivery of day-to-day deliverables to stakeholders and customers
  • Manage the relationship with IT Digital Manufacturing service providers within the (such as IBM- Infosys- EY and OM Partners) for day-to-day operational issues
  • Oversee total organization budget and own decisions around resources and investments.

Project Delivery (20%)

  • Drive performance management within the project; review metrics and manage performance against agreed targets
  • Work with the internal and external stakeholders to- agree and implement SLAs and KPIs
  • Review metrics- including dashboard reviews
  • Establish and oversee in partnership with the PMO and PPM organization operational governance for all relevant / assigned programs and projects.
  • Attend key governance meetings and provide agreed inputs as required
  • Accountable for the resolution of critical risks and issues as escalated to the level of this role.

People/Team Leadership (10%)

  • Indirect management of a wide team of IT resources from Group leaders to Analysts in both program delivery and people/career development.
  • Engage with stakeholders both internally within IT and externally within KHC
  • Provide leadership- coaching- and mentoring to across the organization and the larger KHC IT organization

Work Experience

  • Professional industry experience gained industries- such as Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)- advance electronics- automotive.
  • 15+ years of general management and program/service delivery experience in IT (multifunctional preferable)
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain functional areas
  • 10+ years of people management and development
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision making
  • Experience leading large- complex projects across multiple geographies
  • Experience in change management - preferably in a mixed outsourced and insourced environment
  • Experience in managing large- virtual teams- including offshore locations
  • Experience in working with 3rd party service providers of multiple types (functional- strategic- operations- BPO)
  • Deductive reasoning- analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Significant prior experience in leading and motivating a team – recognized as an inspirational leader and people manager with a good track record of attracting- developing and retaining talent
  • Prior experience of enabling and driving change with a high degree of cultural awareness and sensitivity to enable and drive change in a multi-national environment
