Description & Requirements

The HR Lead for our Global Procurement population drives all people initiatives and strategies across the Global Procurement function- including organizational design and efficiency- talent pipeline and development- capability development- and succession planning. This role also has ownership of several excellence projects. The Lead provides direct HR support and direction to the corporate Procurement leadership team- including the Global Chief Procurement Officer (CPO)- and reports directly to the Head of People & Performance Global Supply Chain & Procurement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the talent and performance management processes. Ensure leaders are appropriately trained on the process as well as program changes in order to facilitate robust calibration sessions.

  • Assess interpersonal structures on a regular basis to ensure proper staffing levels. Proactively lead the movement and development of talent in alignment with staffing needs. Facilitate the movement of talent within the manufacturing organization and central teams.

  • Proactively handle and resolve performance issues to minimize risk. Evaluate employee relations to identify trends. Train managers and team leaders on applicable employee relations processes and communication channels.

  • Support leaders in fostering the Company’s culture and modeling its values. Become a credible business partner in order to promote initiatives such as Management by Objectives (MBOs)- process mapping- and meritocracy.

  • Work across the global organization to enhance corporate diversity and inclusive (D&I) efforts. Influence leaders so that D&I goals are included in hiring and decision making.

  • Build out talent capabilities by improving training and development (Ownerversity)- career experiences- and mentoring and rotational programs. Conduct training sessions as needed.

  • Continually work with and challenge current organizational structures in the corporate team and in the zones to drive continuous improvement and find efficiencies. Partner with team leaders to evaluate monthly business performance reviews and conduct audits to ensure structures mirror company approach.

  • Actively develop team budget and reduce costs on a continual basis. Run all organizational redesign decisions. Facilitate organization- process and people assessments to narrow gaps and create efficiencies.

  • Support the Global CPO in executive-level coaching and building of a hard-working leadership team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of dynamic HR experience- including 3+ years of talent management or similar experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • Ability to understand business financials and where HR can make an impact.

  • Ability to influence and align strategy around talent capability and behaviors.

  • Proven record of partnering at different levels within an organization.

  • Robust analytical skillset.

  • Success in leading change management efforts in a matrix environment.

  • Knowledge of core HR services and ability to partner with HR centers of excellence- including talent acquisition- compensation- employee relations- and benefits.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven experience with change management and organizational design and efficiency work.

Preferred:

  • Experience within a procurement function.
