Description & Requirements

Our Iberia Business Unit is looking for a Head of Category Management to make a difference at Kraft Heinz!

The role sits within the Iberia Leadership Team- reporting directly into the Commercial Director Continental Europe and in dotted-line into the Managing Director Iberia. You’ll be working with a diverse team across the various brands and categories.

You will be the one responsible for the 6P´s Strategy of the Category – Proposition- Product- Pack- Price- Promotion and Place. The delivery of a category vision & activation plan for our key focus channels will be your main mission- while constantly looking for improvement activities within you team.

In brief- you take ownership of;

  • Building an ambitious category vision for each of our sales channels- based on data points- customer and consumer insights;
  • Devising long-term development strategies for our product categories;
  • Driving monthly Category Review Analysis & Meetings at subcategory level;
  • Clear financial critical metric tracking to deliver both topline and bottom line as targets;
  • Managing various P&L levers;
  • Developing a strong network and collaboration cross-departmentally to ensure an aligned and efficient plan (marketing- trade marketing- category within the local business unit and our Continental Europe organisation;
  • Identifying- explore opportunities for growth; internally and externally for our customers;
  • Build relationship with Kraft Heinz business units across the world to share & take learnings- driving efficiencies when possible.


Hard Skills and Capabilities

  • College Degree or Master Degree- preferably from a Business School;
  • 5 - 8 years meaningful experience in category management or trade marketing- preferably in FMCG industry;
  • Ability to work independently in an analytical and structured way;
  • Strong leadership skills;
  • Ownership attitude- push to learn through new challenges and capability to drive results and lead independently of age/role
  • High proficiency in Spanish and in English
