Away From Home (AFH) is a rapidly growing and focus business within Kraft Heinz, known for bringing our iconic global food brands to life in the foodservice channel. The Associate Director, Customer Marketing for AFH owns shaping and implementing our customer-centric marketing strategies through high-impact experiences with consumers and delivering value. Responsible for leading a team of 10+, this role is at the center of driving our strategy in partnership with our Sales and Culinary teams. This role also interacts with customer and industry partners, developing direct relationships to successfully drive the marketing agenda and support the overall channel/customer strategy.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Leadership: Mentor, guide and lead a team, fostering their growth and development for long-term success
Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators and regularly report on the effectiveness of investments and customer marketing initiatives
Content Development: Coordinate the creation and elevate customer-facing content, including presentations and channel/customer specific brand value propositions and case studies
Executive Presence: Interact with executives at companies of all sizes, including some of the biggest QSR’s, FSR’s and multi-national organizations in the world
Industry Foresight: Leverage consumer insights, financial analysis and industry knowledgebase to deliver end to end value
Expected Experience & Required Skills
Prior experience of significant responsibility in foodservice marketing, brand management or strategic sales roles
Track record for developing and growing a team of significant size and impact
Experience developing external relationships with senior executives and a proven track record to influence decision making to drive initiatives forward
P&L proficiency with the ability to analyze business health through financials
Self-starter mentality with goal to make a difference each day
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes in business, customer, and consumer needs on a cross functional and matrixed environment
Pro-active problem solver able to assess an issue and develop action steps for resolution
An outstanding ability for balancing creativity with business needs, inspired by the "now and next" and keeping the consumer at the center of the work
Work Environment & Schedule
Work in-office is hybrid with 3 days per week in Chicago office and 30-40% travel to customers, conferences etc. Additionally, this role requires working a salaried, exempt schedule to support customer and internal expectations.
Physical demands include but not limited to
Willingness to drive and/or travel as needed (projected 35-40%)
Operate a computer and view screens for ~100% of work schedule

We believe our office environment fuels our collaboration, connection & community as an organization and allows our employees to grow toward greatness. We also believe providing a more flexible and agile model is essential in today’s workplace. A majority of our office-based employees will be able to work remotely for up to two days each week. Additionally, employees who are subject to this hybrid model will be eligible to work from anywhere for up to six weeks in a rolling 12-month period (in maximum two-week increments and according to benefits and tax guidelines).
