Description & Requirements

Role: Head of IT for HR and Corporate Functions

The Head of IT for HR and Corporate Functions will report directly into the Global CIO and will be responsible to define the IT Strategy and manage the related IT Master Plan for these business domains.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Bring the outside in. Scout the industry for disruptive technologies that can improve efficiency and/or effectiveness of how Kraft Heinz operates. Be a Digital Transformation leader.
  • Optimize HR and Corporate Functions systems to meet workforce requirements creating opportunities for automation- reduction of manual processes- and simple processes.
  • Own all IT aspects within HR and Corporate Functions by partnering with the Chief People Officer- Chief Communications Officer- Corporate General Counsel and numerous other Senior level leaders as needed.
  • Be an active full-time member of the Information Technology Leadership Team (ITLT) providing leadership and guidance on overall IT strategies- investment and cost savings- people growth- project approvals- employee engagement and other major programs impacting the global organization.
  • Actively manage a portfolio of about $10MM in Capex projects.
  • Lead the IT HR and Corporate Functions Team comprised of 10+ internal FTEs- and several teams of high-profile external consultants and systems integrators.
  • Ensure that all projects- purchases- and processes are compliant with Company policies and procedures.
  • Work in conjunction with the Software Asset Management team to jointly advise the relevant stakeholders on software licensing and compliance. Recommend actions that will optimize the software asset portfolio.

  • Significant experience (15+ years) working in IT for a large enterprise ($10B+)
  • Significant experience in setting and aligning global strategies- objectives- prioritizations and key metrics
  • Significant experience in platform governance and a multitude of initiatives across functions and organizations
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to speak to all levels of IT- business management- and employees regarding strategy- costs- execution- and performance
  • Proven ability to determine- implement- and execute financial business cases
