Position Summary

The Head of Away from Home Marketing has the opportunity to take on an integral role in the future of not only the Away from Home business- but also the entire Marketing function. This position is critical in setting the brand strategy & positioning across the AFH portfolio- as well as delivering total brand objectives across the most dense SKU platform in the organization. With over $1.5B in revenue and a team of 20+- this position has the opportunity to drive significant impact within our total top-line P&L. We are seeking an eager- strategic leader who not only craves the opportunity to put their fingerprints on the future innovation- but has a “roll up your sleeves” mindset and is willing to guide & influence this Marketing team in the present. This ideal candidate will bring the consumer first methodology to light as we carve out the future of Away from Home.

Key Components of the role

  • Sets the brand strategy and positioning across the AFH portfolio.
  • Accountable for delivering the brand's profit- volume and market share objectives.
  • Leads AFH Innovation pipeline- leading the culinary team and coordinating with insights and R&D.
  • Leads development of trade marketing plans and hand off to customer marketing teams across key channels.
  • Oversee the AFH marketing long-term strategy and develop and execute marketing plans.
  • Drive business’s pricing- packaging- trade merchandising- advertising and promotion strategies and allocate the budget accordingly.
  • Owns relationships with external agency partners.
  • Input into AFH Strat Plan and execution. 
  • Owner of the cross org Brand relationships ensuring AFH is in consideration set of all Brand plans in KHC for 2022 AOP and beyond.
  • Owns ZBB delivery for all marketing channels.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing- Business or related field; MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of marketing experience- with at least 3-5 years in a leadership position; CPG or Food & Beverage industry experience preferred
  • Advanced business acumen (e.g. trade marketing- P&L ownership) and project management skills- with the heart of a marketer
  • Proven experience in core brand building role- managing large A&C budgets ($20MM+)
  • Proven track record driving breakthrough & disruptive innovation thinking
  • Proven knack of knowing the consumer- separating insights from observations and leveraging them in day to day work
  • Advanced people leadership experience & stakeholder management up- down & across
  • Demonstrated drive for results and vast execution experience
