Reporting into the CMO of Continental Europe- this role is within the Germany business unit. In this role you will lead the brand marketing team and full portfolio of Germany to achieve ambitious portfolio growth strategies and are part of the local leadership team. Your main challenge is growing Heinz across Germany.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading the development of category vision and strategy to grow your brand and/or category value and win greater retailer support.
  • Leading the development of a competitive brand positioning- vision and strategy that has an impact in the world/society. Driving foresight into which growth platforms will bring more value and which need to be changed.
  • In terms of innovations- working with finance team to size a business opportunity and define the link between mix elements- consumer behaviour outcomes and financial targets. . .
  • Using shopper and customer insights in working with the Category team to develop and implement strong availability and visibility plans with focus on assortment- distribution- merchandising and in store communication.
  • Building teams (internally and externally)- where you foster collaboration and cocreation are encouraged to achieve outstanding performance.
  • Coaching teams to high performance on complex projects and have spread best practice.

     

Qualifications

Must haves
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.

  • Minimum 10+  years in marketing (or marketing related) experience
  • Proven experience in leading marketing teams- with a solid background in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong Proficiency in English and German
  • You are a role model in encouraging a consumer-obsessed environment. You always make decisions based on human-centric data and challenges other to do so.
  • You apply agility and experimentation in testing and feedback methodologies.
