Base Salary Range: $136,600.00 - $170,800.00

Target Total Cash Range: $218,560.00 - $273,280.00

Target Total Cash: Target total cash represents this role's annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary + target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings. In addition to base salary and bonus, this role is eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity.

Engineering & Portfolio Lead at a glance

Kraft Heinz is currently hiring a Head of Project Execution as part of the enterprise Zone Technical Execution (ZTE) organization. You will be responsible for overseeing and directing a team of capital project managers to ensure all project activities are executed safely- cost effectively- and to schedule. You will participate in cross functional Peer Reviews for major Capital projects (>$1MM) within the North American zone portfolio- typically beyond $500 MM annually across more than 30 sites in the US and Canada- to ensure projects are right-sized and fit-for-purpose.  Ensure that Capacity Investments are clearly defined and included in Strategic Plans- Master Plans and AOP.

  • Influence and coordinate with the Head of Engineering & Capital Execution.

  • Apply improvement initiatives/learning across the portfolio to deliver a program of continuous improvement.

  • Delivering reports and performance information in order to early identify deviations from the schedule and budget. Providing input and evaluating profitability analysis.

  • Development of project management competences in the Engineering and Projects department.

  • Select contractors and vendors and monitor their performance.

  • Provide leadership- supervision- technical guidance and mentoring to personnel..

  • Accountable for on-time engineering deliverables- procured materials and equipment to sites.

  • I have experience leading multi-functional teams across a number of supply chain roles within the food manufacturing industry- with a degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical- Chemical- Electrical- Production or Industrial Engineering.

  • I have experience and capability to assesses feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering solutions.

  • I have demonstrated ability to Direct/Lead/Manage cross functional teams on large capital project/programs of $30MM - $50MM or more.

  •  I have proven extensive experience within project execution and engineering.

  • I have proven to be successful in striving to improve industry knowledge- especially in terms of project management techniques used in the industry.
