About the Position

We have an amazing opportunity available for an experienced brand builder and all-round commercial leader to make a real difference at Kraft Heinz.

This position heads up the Northern Europe Taste Elevation (sauces and condiments) category- reporting into the CMO & Commercial Director NE- part of the Commercial Leadership Team and working alongside other Category Heads- and Heads of Media- Insights and Category Development.

It’s a role for someone who wants the opportunity to make their mark in a transforming business- who wants to be accountable for defining and delivering the category plans in collaboration with the wider team and cross functionally within a matrix organisation. You’ll be effectively a mini-GM for your category- leading a close knit and high-reaching team who are striving to deliver the best for consumers and the business.

In brief- you will be responsible for;

  • Being the voice of the category internally and externally- engaging others in the vision for the business and setting in place clear priorities and deliverables for the team
  • Defining the long-term strategy for the category to deliver to the overall business ambitions and translating that into annual operating plans that deliver profitable growth
  • Embedding the brand vision and strategy at the heart of all category plans- from creating the long-term innovation pipeline- to commercial decision making and communications development
  • Being responsible for the commercial performance of the category through full P&L and portfolio management
  • Mentoring and coaching a diverse team covering marketing- commercial- finance and supply chain to deliver the day-to-day operational plans
  • Inspiring the sales team and retailers with compelling category strategies and plans aligned to deliver their growth ambitions

Qualifications


Hard Skills

  • Significant experience in FMCG brand building leadership positions with wide ranging skills in brand management and development
  • Demonstrable record of success and advancement in a commercial environment with proven understanding of category development- shopper marketing- consumer insights and innovation development and delivery
  • High financial and commercial acumen- P&L ownership- and experience in delivering Revenue Growth Management Plans
  • Strong command of data analysis and insight generation
  • Evidence of flexibility- agility and use of initiative to solve challenges
