About the Job

We have an excellent opportunity available for a Business Solutions Manager role to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The role of Business Solutions Manager lies within the EMEA zone- within the IT department reporting to Head of IT- MEA.  You’ll be working in a high performing team in a matrix organization- alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. This role will partner with functional leaders to identify opportunities and deliver digital capabilities by leveraging technology.

Main Responsibilities

  • Partners with business teams to establish and execute upon a strategic IT roadmap which realizes goals and objectives in a matrix organization
  • Works with functional leaders- SME’s and key users to gather and analyze business needs in order to write specification documents. Works with global and zone IT teams to shape local demand and assess proposed solutions in alignment with IT strategy and IT policies and standards
  • Executes IT demand management process- prepares documentation for proposed solution and presents in architecture and process review boards for approval
  • Creates project plans- identifies & structures problems/challenges- leads cross-functional teams’ problem-solving efforts by using subject matter expertise in the Digital / Business Solutions area
  • Manages the delivery of the project in all dimensions (including but not limited to managing the scope- timeplan- cost- changes- risks- communication etc.) to implements regional IT roadmap
  • Communicates project progress in regional and international councils- provides status reports to ensure all stakeholders are aware and up to date on the overall project progress- achievements- risks and issues
  • Constantly looks for better ways of solving problems- investigates and suggests alternative solutions and challenges the status quo for continuous improvements
  • Establishes and maintain a strong relationship with IT partners. Partners with internal stakeholders (legal- procurement etc.) to execute contracting processes in the form of Statement of Work (SoW)
  • Coordinates and/ or supports local deployment of global IT projects
  • Advocates adoption of IT systems and solutions; measures and monitors adoption; suggests and applies necessary actions where appropriate
  • Supports Head of IT for developing regional IT strategy- participates in meetings- leading IT related discussions as appropriate
  • Takes part in budget planning- budget management- budget reporting and review for both
  • CapEx and ZBB (zero based budgeting for ongoing IT expenses)

Qualifications

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree STEM fields (Science- Technology- Engineering- Mathematics) or a related field
  • Work experience of at least 5 years with minimum 2 years in a similar role
  • Prior work experience in an FMCG environment is important
  • Strong business acumen preferably in FMCG industry
  • Prior experience in managing large scale projects with a strong expertise in digital technologies
  • Proven record of delivering business and digital solutions
  • Experienced in vendor management- budget planning and management
  • A strong command over English with an ability to understand and communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Experienced in applying IT best practice methodologies (ITIL- Agile- Prince2)
  • Preferred to prior experience in design thinking- lean and six sigma practices
