Description & Requirements

Purpose:

The person in this role will ensure that IT Service Reliability- End User satisfaction and IT project delivery in the ANJ Zone are at the highest possible levels and in line with the Global IT Technology and Operations standards.   To do so- this role is primarily leveraging resources from many other IT teams globally and KHC suppliers to deliver and maintain a high performant IT Infrastructure and Operations environment.  In addition to the global and supplier teams- a team of End User Technicians across the ANJ zone will report to this role as well.

The person in this role be the champion of Global strategies and standards and will support and implement these in an efficient way without losing sight of local and zone wide interests and aspects.  At the same time- this role does also represent the zone towards the Global teams and suppliers and will ensure mutual understanding and alignment. 

The role spans across all IT Technology and Operations towers: Hosting- Networking- End User Computing and Collaboration tools - Security.  The Zone IT Operations manager is part of the Global IT Technology and Operations team but will work very closely with the zone and local IT teams to reach the common goals.

This role is part of the International IT Technology and Operations organization reporting into the Head of IT International Operations based in the Netherlands.

Key Deliverables:

  • Ensure that IT Reliability and IT Infrastructure Projects across ANJ are under control and follow the objectives defined by the business and International / Global IT leadership.   
  • Manage a team of EUC technicians located across various locations in the zone to deliver seamless end-user services and high user satisfaction.
  • In close cooperation with the Head of International IT Operation and Global IT Tower leads-  own the zone Infrastructure and Operations business as usual- services and projects towards Heads of IT in the zone.
  • Be the zone subject matter expert towards Zone IT Leadership for IT Operations and Infrastructure matters
  • Ensure adhering to global IT architecture standards and policies- and alignment to the  zone IT Strategy.
  • Identify and act on opportunities for improvement- both technically as well as in the process/procedure area.
  • Work closely working with Global IT Technology and Operations PMO and project managers to ensure projects in the zone are delivered in time with quality using internal or external project resources.
  • Manage project escalations and provide escalation points for infrastructure high priority incidents.
  • Develops and maintains plans for short term and long term CAPEX projects aligned to both Global and Zone business and IT plans- provide guidance both technically and financially on proposed IT solutions.
  • Executes Asset lifecycle projects within timelines and budgets.
  • Direct and co-ordinate with SDM -Tower-leads (Internal team) and Vendor (external resources) to maximum effectiveness in order to deliver BAU service with high quality standards.
  • In close cooperation with Zone PPM team and Global PMO- manage Operations CAPEX and OPEX

  • Able to work in a team-oriented- collaborative- geographically dispersed environment
  • Strong Vendor management experience
  • Technical credibility and independent judgment and decision-making experience
  • Broad IT infrastructure knowledge and experience across all towers in IT Infrastructure and Operations
  • Project Management proficiency
  • ITIL Certification is a big plus

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in a lead/team management role- including remote management
  • 10 years IT Operations and Infrastructure experience- across all towers
  • Experience of working in a truly global organization with “local” customers
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Financial / budget management experience – both CAPEX and OPEX
  • Project Management experience
  • ITIL experience- qualification is a plus
