Kraft Heinz IT Internship

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Bachelor/Master student who is interested in making a difference in IT at Kraft Heinz!

The positions:

This is a role for someone who craves a global challenge balanced by the desire to be accountable for delivering for Kraft Heinz.  We would like to have a motivated intern to join the team. There are two branches of IT positions within Kraft Heinz:

  • Enterprise Architecture Intern

  • IT GBS/GBE Intern

If you have a preference- please let us know- and this will be respected as much as possible.

Tasks throughout the available roles can include:  

Enterprise Architecture Intern

  • Working closely with the IT Strategy and Architecture team

  • Work with the global IT Community to align on the approach and contribute to the DigITize program

  • Support the team in activities like portfolio management- creating reports and dashboards.

IT GBS/GBE Intern

  • Manage and facilitate several projects related to new technologies

  • Manage other functions that GBS serves

  • Working and communicating with the team regarding the projects and the analytics of the progress

Job requirements  

  • You are enrolled at a European university during at least 50% of the duration of the internship.  
  • You are nearing the end of your bachelor's degree or pursuing your master’s degree.
  • You have good knowledge of the English language- both written and spoken (Dutch is a bonus).
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office tools (specifically MS Excel- Word- PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of working with Tableau is a Plus!
  • NOTE: EU working rights are required. (Either you have an EU Citizenship- or you are studying in the Netherlands).

  • Ability to Simplify: We like to keep it simple. And to execute fast. Your ability to simplify will be highly appreciated- when you provide simple solutions dealing with complex challenges.
  • Analytical: We’re a very data driven company. You know how to translate complex data into a simple solution with your analytical mindset.
  • Communication Skills: At Kraft Heinz you’ll easily be exposed to senior management- no matter your level. Therefore- it’s important you have excellent communication skills- to deal with all kinds of different stakeholders. 
  • Time Management Skills: Time management has no secrets for you. You’re organized- structured and always have an overview of all the deliverables. You can apply high levels of operational discipline- and diligent follow-through to deliver results
  • Ownership Skills: Think and act like the owners of our business- make tough choices and treat every dollar as if it is our own. A self-starter mindset- with the ability to work independently when required- interpret and exercise professional judgment- and solve problems creatively
  • Team Work: Willing to work in a team-oriented- collaborative & geographically dispersed environment.
  • Dynamic: Eager to work in a fast-paced- complex & dynamic environment.
  • Technology Oriented: Understanding of technology- and how it is applied to the consumer goods industry.

What we offer you:

Program start date: January/February 2023  

Duration: 6 months

Allowance: 625 euro per month (40hrs- 5 days) & full reimbursement of travel expenses

Location: Amsterdam- hybrid

COVID-19 update:

Like any other company- Kraft Heinz has been affected by the regulations surrounding COVID-19. In line with the upcoming government recommendations- Kraft Heinz is implementing a hybrid way of working.   This means that we work 60% of the week in the office- 40% from home.
