This is a role for someone who craves a global challenge balanced by the desire to be accountable for delivering against the model in the largest business unit for Kraft Heinz.  It is both a strategic and a tactical position.  Those that do not want to get their hands dirty should not apply.   



This role is a functional IT role in a Global team with focus on the ANZ region for Kraft Heinz Company’s rollout of SAP S/4HANA. The role will have functional expertise in the primary area of responsibility of Operations and preferably expertise in complimentary areas such as Quality Management Production- Operations and Plant Maintenance. The role is the owner of the applications and business process implementation within the primary functional area. The role is responsible to deliver projects as part of Kraft Heinz Company’s rollout of S/4HANA to the ANZ Region. The role will lead teams of subject matter experts and consultants to document- define- deliver- and maintain the business solution. Part of delivering the business solution will include taking the lead on integration across other relevant work streams.  


Position Responsibilities 

  • Leads a team of subject matter experts and consultants to support system implementation and all required deliverables from fit/gap through testing and production deployment project phases with focus on the Operations business process areas. 

  • Manage multiple stakeholder groups- translating and interpreting business needs into actionable requirements and into deliverable solutions.  

  • Provides guidance to internal Business Leads on application functions and SAP best practice process. 

  • Leads solution development by identifying development objects- performing functional spec development and system configuration requirements along with our integration partner. 

  • Supports change management activities by assisting with development of training materials- training scenarios- documentation- communication and change impacts.  

  • Supports business acceptance of the solution through development of test scenarios and Service Delivery handover documentation. 

  • Responsible for maintaining and controlling the suite of reporting that are utilized to drive the business process and measure its effectiveness.  

  • Leads timely issue identification- resolution- escalation when appropriate. 

  • Manage & prioritize the IT demand generated; reviewing continuous improvement initiatives through to making capital appropriation requests for large projects. 

  • Proactively and effectively communicate progress in of directly or indirectly owned pending demand and active projects throughout the life cycle. In the longer term it can be anticipated that there will be numerous concurrent projects of varying size and complexity. 

  • Maintaining and developing relevant expertise in the domain. 




  • Bachelor Degree is required 

  • Minimum 5-7 years functional and/or technical and functional combined: 

  • Experience in working with an IT team sizes of between 2-5 team members in the Operations stream with specific experience in the sub-streams of Quality Mgt and Plant Maintenance preferred. 

  • Fit / Gap requirements definition and mapping. 

  • Solution design in the Operations process area is required- experience with MRP is preferred. 

  • SAP ECC6 Production Planning (PP-PI) configuration experience is essential. QM and PM preferred. 

  • Hands-on development of project deliverables - formal/structured methodology. 

  • Applying required configuration changes. 

  • Test planning and scenario creation.  Test script creation and editing. Experience with test tools such as HP ALM preferred. 

  • Solid blend of business and/or technical capabilities- business operating models and underlying technical architectures. 

  • Demonstrates process & technical knowledge of the core area supported as well as the areas integrating with their area. Understanding of end-to-end processes is a plus.  

  • Relevant certifications including SAP S/4HANA PP- Sourcing & Procurement are preferred- but not essential

  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools such as SAP Solution Manager. 

  • Ability to travel 50% or more as part of the role on a routine basis.
