Description & Requirements

As an IT Product Owner – o9- you will be responsible for the end-to-end IT product leadership of the o9 Demand Planning platform within Kraft Heinz North America Demand Planning landscape. This is a high impact; high influence role expected to ideate and act with urgency and independence.  You will work with internal leaders to outline current ways of working and designing new cadences for continuous review of solutions. This role will require collaboration cross-functionally with both IT and business functions that execute and support the o9 solution at KHC.  The role will require familiarity with IBP and Demand Planning process and the solutions that support them.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform as the IT lead for delivering support and operations of the o9 solution driving the technical work activities related to the o9 Demand Planning platform at Kraft Heinz.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure digital vision and products align within team strategy and product requirements.
  • Deliver new capabilities to support the Demand Planning process within KHC. 
  • Is a key role on Agile team(s) and works with the team daily- leveraging Jira- Scrum- Kanban- and SAFe methodology.
  • Coordinate with key business stakeholders within the Demand Planning function and COE to prioritize and implement new capabilities within the o9 platform utilizing an agile development methodology.
  • Partner with o9 directly to build technical teams needed to deliver needed epics and sprints.
  • Govern estimating user stories for delivery and placement within sprint delivery cycles.
  • Manage closed loop governance model of available and used capacity of internal and partners capacity of story points across epics and OKRs.
  • Communicate effectively to all interested parties throughout agile life cycles.
  • Lead and partner in PI Planning cycles.
  • Direct management and development of employees within the product team including business analysts and configuration specialists.


  • Bachelor’s Degree (Information Technology- engineering related field preferred)
  • 10+ years’ experience in implementing Supply Chain solutions- ideally with focus on Planning Systems implementations or information technology related field
  • Understanding/experience working in an agile development methodology
  • High standard of communication skills expected both oral and written
  • Demonstrated ability to directly manage and grow employees
  • Ability to translate technical needs and successes of the pod to stakeholders
  • Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from tech- design- and business
  • High standard of initiative and ability to work through issues expected
  • High standard of organization to plan and complete tasks in priority order expected
  • Relevant experience in a role on a software implementation project is advantageous
  • Relevant experience with Enterprise Planning software such as o9- Blue Yonder- SAP APO- SAP IBP- or other
  • Expected travel approximately 15%
