About the Role

The Infant & Corporate Nutritionist assists with the development and implementation of the nutrition strategy- targets and commitments. This role also provides expert nutrition support and identifying nutrition-related opportunities to marketing and product development teams on all Kraft Heinz ANZ food categories and brands

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert nutrition support and identifying nutrition-related opportunities to marketing and product development teams on all Kraft Heinz ANZ food categories and brands
  • Provide specialist infant nutrition knowledge to the infant category from evidence-based internal guidance to consumer nutrition education information.
  • Assist in developing and implementing nutrition strategy and initiatives. 
  • Participate in development of ESG global nutrition guidelines- implementation and monitoring reports on portfolio improvements including sugar and salt reduction and increasing beneficial ingredients.
  • Contribute to relevant submissions on regulatory and policy changes by various government- departments- and non-government organisations
  • Represent Wattie’s and provide nutrition support to Plunket partnership
  • Guide effective consumer marketing activity through sound science
  • Take accountability for nutrition reviews of all labels and marketing activity in the infant and toddler food category
  • Review and update infant feeding digital and print resources- forbaby website nutrition articles and health professional resources in-line with the latest scientific evidence.
  • Communicate new evidence-based research and trends and provide nutrition training
  • Support marketing on the identification of opportunities for relevant consumer nutrition messages in categories
  • Approve labels- advertising- and websites for categories in relation to nutrition content
  • Support the product development brief with nutrition expertise
  • Support the innovation and renovation pipeline for sugar and salt reductions and improving compliance to nutrition guidelines.
  • Provide infant feeding advice to caregivers and health professionals via the Careline and digital queries

About You

  • Bachelor degree majoring in human nutrition – minimum
  • Post graduate qualification in dietetics- marketing or legal
  • Previous experience in food industry nutrition role
  • Understanding of regulatory and policy environment as it relates to food and beverage products
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change and drive nutrition projects
  • Strong attention to detail
