We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Bachelor or Master student who has an affinity for the field of internal communication and wants to make a difference at Kraft Heinz at our Amsterdam office!

The position
We are looking for an independent and proactive student who is not afraid of responsibilities- likes to provide added value- and has fluency in English. As an Internal Communications intern- you will be working closely with the Communications Manager Benelux based in Amsterdam (the Netherlands) as well as with many international colleagues. During the internship you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and operational activities- in which you will learn and practice the different elements of Internal Communication- such as employee engagement- storytelling- copywriting- content creation- and event planning- to name a few.

Responsibilities & Tasks Throughout The Role Include

  • Assist in executing the internal communication strategy for the Benelux and Continental Europe.
  • Think critically and find opportunities to help improve strategies to support business objectives.
  • Review and edit content of communications materials to ensure the content meets established communications standards and guidelines before publication.
  • Take ownership of the standardized weekly newsletter communications.
  • Shoot- edit- and upload videos.
  • Support the Benelux town halls or Continental Europe meetings.
  • Assist with the creation and publication of all employee communications content and communications.
  • Assist in optimizing content management.
  • Assist with planning and project management of various internal events.
  • Structure- collect and manage information from different team members.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Relevant educational background- for example- in Communication/ Journalism/ Marketing/ Branding/ PR.
  • Excellent communication skills in English- both verbal and written.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft programs and tools. Experience with digital internal communication mediums- such as- intranet- newsletters and more is a plus.
  • Video editing and design skills (we use Canva for content creation).

NOTE EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship or you are studying in the Netherlands)

What We Offer You

  • Program start date July 2023
  • Duration 6 months (or longer depending on your availability)
  • Allowance 625 euro per month (40hrs/ 5 days) & full reimbursement of travel expenses

Hybrid Policy
